I was seated immediately and the waitress was so friendly. I decided to change my tea order and the fella behind the bar showed me the different teas. I went with the Tango Mango and was glad it wasn’t too sweet. Although I didn’t see...soup and sandwiches in the menu my server assured me they served it. I had a chicken sandwich with cheese and all the fixings along with a carrot and ginger soup and both were delicious. I have noticed since I’ve been in Ireland that they are not in a rush to have you leave. I’ve had to ask for my check every time. It doesn’t matter if there are people waiting to be seated, they won’t rush you at all. Definitely different than the states. I would definitely recommend this place to any visitors, especially when your Shenanigans Walking Tour is over. Nice place to warm up and fill your bellyMore

Good food. Good service. Will come again.

Locals stated the food was good here. Had the smoked Haddock dinner, which was as good as any nice restaurant in Wisconsin. Very reasonably priced. We had the locally made beer which was also good. We stayed at an Inn just a short walk from...town. Food was good, reasonably priced. We came at a good time, service was prompt. We came after a lunch hour, more of an early dinner. I would definitely come again.More

Must visit in Kilkenny

Lovely bar very friendly staff quick service We had massaman chicken curry, chicken wings and salad everything was fresh tasty and served hot Would highly recommend and good value also

Lovely spot for breakfast or lunch

The food here was lovely, so much so, we came back the next day. It's reasonably priced too for the quality. Would definitely come here again next time I'm back.

Quick Lunch

We stopped by for a quick lunch and were quickly seated and attended to. Food was good and service was efficient not exactly friendly but it was just towards the end of lunchtime so the staff may have been under pressure. Everyone enjoyed the food...which was fresh and plentiful, kids menu was good value and generous portions we had dessert and coffees and all in all very good experience and would be back.More

Unpleasant staff

Good food

Lunch

Call in regularly for various meals, some Experiences are better than others but overall the food was lovely. Chips accompanying the meal were undercooked on this occasion but other than that it was perfect. The pitta bread dish is a fantastic lunch, so tasty.

time out

After our stroll around Kilkenny we wanted to take the weight off our feet. We went into the tearooms which was extremely busy but were lucky to get a table. To early for dinner we ordered some some tea and scones and some bakery treats....OMG the lemon meringue was to die for. Several cups of tea later and the hunger pangs were gone we were on our way. Friendly and professional staff, good ambience we shall return.More
