We dined here on the last night of our family trip to Ireland. We had just missed the evening entertainment so were able to snag a table as other patrons left. I ordered the lamb stew and it was really good. The guys had the...More

Staff have the dinner and music down to a fine art. Prompt service. Great food - try the vol at vent! - and sublime Irish music. We sat at a table beside the musicians and felt like part of the performance. Our four year old...More

Just went there with a group of 9 friends to enjoy dinner and live music. After experiencing great, great places during our journey through Irland we were stunned by the lack of professional courtesy to be at least neutral to customers coming in for food...More

We went in at 7pm. It was busy but got a table straight away even though we had not booked. We had the Brie and the Chicken wing starters. Chicken wings are pricey but cooked perfectly and there is enough for two. I had the...More

Friendly and accommodating Irish pub. We had the lambs stew - highly recommended light broth tender mutton well done. We also had the local roast sirloin- in brown sauce, again well done but would have chosen the stew over this. The music was great- started...More

My wife and I came here for a drink but ended up getting some grub too. The decor was nice and the witch theme was fun. The old feel to the building was very charming. The place itself is very very busy. The staff probably...More

I'm sure the menu and food attracts foreign visitors but as a native I would have expected a more extensive menu than just sirloin steak or Irish stew. The menu was was very dated and limited is overstating it! The potions aren't much better. The...More

This historic pub has great food. The Shepards Pie is fantastic! The music was traditional and very well done. We really enjoyed ourselves here.

We stopped in here for some takeout. We got the stew and never have I ever had such a tasteless and colorless stew in my life. The meat was fatty and sinewy. It looked as if the chef had just peeled potatoes of all sizes...More

I agree. We went on a Saturday night in March and had no problem. However, during the summer months it may be very crowded.

Medieaval building in the heart of Kilkenny dating back to 1324. Once home to Dame Alice Kyteler tried for witchcraft. Kytelers Inn is NOT a restaurant but a Pub - which is our main business. Yes we also serve bar food. There are three floors with four bars - cheek them all out for the one that suits. On offer at peak season twice nightly from 6.30pm. is a programme of trad music, balladeer, irish dancers & seanachie. You can watch & eat & drink at your leisure.Weekends and Bank holidays we also have Late Bar extensions with bands & DJ for those that want to party a bit later into the night. As it was in Alice Kyteler's day - Kyteler's Inn is a place for "merrie making" - Come and visit us to find out more..Also check us out - Trip Advisor Bars/Nightlife
