We went in for lunch on a Saturday and the place was quiet with fire in the fireplace. Staff was very friendly and beers were fresh and speedy. Food was ok, nothing great. My husbands fish and chips tasted a bit fishy, my chicken curry was good. Would go back but would also look at other places, too.

Nice bar in the center of Kilkenny, decent standard of food and a nice pint of guinness too, the staff were also pretty friendly. The bar is cosy with a real fire, so a nice place to sit with family and friends for a few hours. Some say the place is haunted!

Stopped by here for lunch on a cold Saturday in January. The pub is in a central location in town and has a busy passing trade. The real fire along with the small areas make it a cosy and inviting place to have lunch and a drink. The coffee and food was very good, slightly on the expensive side. Would... More

We came across this pub while shopping in Kilkenny and stopped in for some pub grub. It was totally delicious. We stayed and had a few drinks and watched the soccer. There was a great atmosphere here and the pub itself it all stone work it's really beautiful. We ended up coming back here later that night. There was live... More

We had a group on a cycling tour with us yesterday and we got a little wet on the tour so decided to take cover in one Kilkenny's most iconic attractions. It turned out to be a brilliant decision because after our lunch (Vol à vant & chips) "just delicious" by the way, my guests shown around by a very... More

We went into this place purely based on it's extraordinary history and what it means to Kilkenny. We didn't eat but many of the patrons did. Simply had a pint and soaked it all in. The staff were great and shared the stories with us that I am sure they have told 1000 times. Invited us to look around and... More

Medieaval building in the heart of Kilkenny dating back to 1324. Once home to Dame Alice Kyteler tried for witchcraft. Kytelers Inn is NOT a restaurant but a Pub - which is our main business. Yes we also serve bar food. There are three floors with four bars - cheek them all out for the one that suits. On offer at peak season twice nightly from 6.30pm. is a programme of trad music, balladeer, irish dancers & seanachie. You can watch & eat & drink at your leisure.Weekends and Bank holidays we also have Late Bar extensions with bands & DJ for those that want to party a bit later into the night. As it was in Alice Kyteler's day - Kyteler's Inn is a place for "merrie making" - Come and visit us to find out more..Also check us out - Trip Advisor Bars/Nightlife
