Great old Pub in the middle of town, lots of history about the building and it's origins on the walls for you to read. food was good, and large portions, we only had lunch, but it was busy with locals and tourists. Staff friendly and service and cleanliness first rate.

Stopped here on the basis of a local's recommendation and had the classic bangers and mash, which was very tasty--the sausage was locally sourced. Also had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert (good but I've had better). Staff were friendly, eager to help and the interior of the bar is very cozy and classic. Great ambience!

Lovely spot in the centre of town, and one with a rich history. Once owned by the "witch" Alice Kyteler. Great bar food and great ambiance. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

This is a must do for relaxed Sunday drinks. The outdoor area is the perfect spot to sit out in and listen to some great live music! The band create a lively and fun atmosphere to suit all ages. Of course the vol-au-vents are a most have also!
