This place was high on our things-to-do in Kilkenny due to the story that underlies it. We had lunch in here. Let's start off with directions first. We were dropped at Castle Road. We walked our way in the opposite direction passing by Kilkenny's Castle...More

Loved this place! The ambience, the food, and the service were all wonderful. And like many places in Ireland, it has a story. Not sure if it's true, or even if that matters, but it's still a great story!

Standard beer choices. Food is good. Could use some cleaning and upkeep. Went for lunch. Nighttime is probably a different experience.

My husband and I went to Kyteler's for a late lunch. It's a busy, well organized bar/restaurant. Sat at a small table next to the witch. I had the lunch size bangers and mash and a glass of wine. This comfort meal on a drizzly...More

I agree. We went on a Saturday night in March and had no problem. However, during the summer months it may be very crowded.

Yes we also serve bar food. There are three floors with four bars - cheek them all out for the one that suits. On offer at peak season twice nightly from 6.30pm. is a programme of trad music, balladeer, irish dancers & seanachie. You can watch & eat & drink at your leisure.Weekends and Bank holidays we also have Late Bar extensions with bands & DJ for those that want to party a bit later into the night. As it was in Alice Kyteler's day - Kyteler's Inn is a place for "merrie making" - Come and visit us to find out more..Also check us out - Trip Advisor Bars/Nightlife
