We went for a family meal here at Christmas. The place was very busy but the service was still quick and efficient and the early bird menu is great value. Really enjoyed the Christmas atmosphere too.

This was the best food of our 2 week trip in Ireland. The entertainment felt authentic, then pub felt authentic. It was just far removed from some of the other more tourist geared places we had been. I would recommend to anyone who asks.

If you want a quick good quality lunch in Kilkenny you can’t do much better than this. Good quality, big selection, reasonable prices, friendly staff, good space, beautiful interior.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local citizen. It was nicely decorated for Christmas and we had the special of the day, roast lamb. It was delicious! The coffee was wonderful, too. They served it with yummy shortbread cookies. For a nice sit...More

This was highly-rated both on here and by the clerk at the desk of our hotel. As far as I can tell, it is the same as every other Irish pub-cum-restaurant. The vegetarian options were lacking, the food was ok and the service nice, but...More

I agree. We went on a Saturday night in March and had no problem. However, during the summer months it may be very crowded.

Yes we also serve bar food. There are three floors with four bars - cheek them all out for the one that suits. On offer at peak season twice nightly from 6.30pm. is a programme of trad music, balladeer, irish dancers & seanachie. You can watch & eat & drink at your leisure.Weekends and Bank holidays we also have Late Bar extensions with bands & DJ for those that want to party a bit later into the night. As it was in Alice Kyteler's day - Kyteler's Inn is a place for "merrie making" - Come and visit us to find out more..Also check us out - Trip Advisor Bars/Nightlife
