My family and I enjoyed a casual dinner on the terrace at this popular spot, which felt more local than touristy. The view of Tralee Bay and the Slieve Mish Mountains beyond is nothing short of stunning. They were quite busy, and the service was...a bit chaotic, but we were happy to relax and enjoy the beautiful setting. We found the food unremarkable, though we enjoyed the mussels starter and the pork belly special.More

First time back since the new terrace renovations & honestly I could write an essay of a review but to keep it brief… Overall, my experience last night was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of mouthwatering cauliflower wings and steak, along with the breathtaking...views and positive vibes made for a fabulous evening. The Tankard Bar & Restaurant was a fabulous experience. The location is beautiful. The food was outstanding and the staff were lovely. I ordered the turbot with a thermador sauce which was outstanding the fish was cooked to perfection and the sauce was beautiful. My...husband had the traditional fish and chips which was hake, it too was delicious and the chips were lovely. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.More

The pub was friendly clean and the service was very very good. The food choices were good and very fulfilling. Would recommend others to check out this great little Irish pub.

The Tankard does it all- in the week around our wedding in may 2022, we had a gorgeous dinner with family the night before the wedding, and then for the afters of our wedding the tankard did an amazing BBQ for 120 of our guests....Everyone was so impressed with the food, service, and stunning views. The outdoor area is a hidden gem in kerry!More
