Haven't visited since covid. Went there today and everything was fantastic as always. The place has been completely refurbished, and the food was lovely.

This is q cash only restaurant but it is really worth the experience. Excellent food freshly cooked to order. Everything was fresh . Nice wine choices. The owners and the waiting staff were very welcoming and cheerful. Its a very busy restaurant but you never...feel rushed. I'd advise making a reservation.More

WOW! Amazing menu. Huge range of choices. The five items we picked were all perfect. The decor is lovely, and, service friendly and fast. We will be going back... PLUS ... they do take-away. Well done KHAO!

I was on a mission to eat more veggies and get a break from pub food. We found Khao from its great reviews on Google and the Lonely Planet book. This place did not disappoint! The flavors were on point, the portions were big, and...the lunch special is a great deal (choose any main course and homemade ice cream for 10 euro.) You can also get a big shareable bottle of sparkling water for just one euro and add on a side of steamed veggies for 5.50 euro. The owners and wait staff are really caring and attentive. They make everything to order and will gladly customize your meal to your liking. We were super happy with our food and beer and wine. They also offer cocktails. BTW, to address one of the reviews I read before coming here where the diner criticized that they were not offered chopsticks or a high chair... Honestly, just ask. Don't be mad and write a review later. They do have high chairs and chopsticks and extra Thai chili, if you just ask. Also, I laugh because that diner thought they were pointing out the restaurant's fault for the lack of chopsticks. However, not all Asian cultures eat with chopsticks. The chef/owner is half-Thai / half-Malaysian and those countries serve their food with a spoon and fork, not chopsticks, LOL.More

Fresh food, great service, generous portions and reasonable pricing ! From the moment we entered the resturant we were warmly welcomed and shown to a comfortable booth seat. The service was speedy and friendly. There were many different options for different budgets and different tastes....Especially liked the squid and the fried rice was really very tasty. Would definitely visit again!More

Just finished up an amazing meal there. I had the calamari which were very flavoursome and the right level of spice, followed by the Beef Pho, which was very tasty and the portion size was incredibly generous. Staff are friendly. Cash only

Not our first time here and we keep going back for a reason. Asian street food at its best. I had the chicken massaman and Kate had the Raman noodles. Have to admit that this has been our favourite restaurant for a long time. Appreciate...all the work owners have put in despite challenges of last 18 months to keep standards so high. GregMore

We called in yesterday for lunch. Very friendly and attentive staff, very helpful in explaining some the dishes. Our food was delicious, we will definitely be back. To note, it is small so you may need to book.

No, you should be fine. Depends on time of year, in summer it gets very busy, but you should be able to get a seat !
