Wanted more!
Arrived looking forward to something more, staff very attentive and
welcoming, starters excellent, duck tartlet and mackerel fish cakes , faultless. Main course of special fish , which was hake with a beur blanc sauce, very nice and a beef stroganoff which I thought...yes has to be perfect where we are, sadly, I thought more a goulash or beef stew, heavy and not fillet of beef, no surprises in the sweet menu, chocolate gateau, selection of ice cream, apple pie.. over all nice meal but expected more due to the name, tins of Guinness despensed as pints of Guinness, no matter how you pour it into a glass ots still a tin.. very sad looking Guinness after a while in its not so glorious pint glass. Wouldn't happen in the west of Ireland. Tad disappointed all round.More
