Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely service and good food. My prawn cocktail was probably one of the best I’ve ever had with prawns that were so fresh. Main course was good and dessert again excellent. Good value for money and definitely worth a visit if you’re in this neck...of the woods.More

We had two different fish mains. Each was delicious. Dessert was tasty and not overly sweet. We also enjoyed the professional and friendly wait staff. They were very flexible when planning for my gluten free partner and the even had nice gf soda bread. Wonderful...find!More

After walking around Killarney last Saturday night, struggling to get a table for two but we did eventually get one in Treyvaud's. I had the venison stakes and they were Devine. No joke 10 out of 10, rare as requested with some simple vegetables. It...was memorable as I salivate thinking of it now. The wild and field mushrooms with some red wine sauce too, highly highly recommended. My partner had the sirloin steak and I tried it. It was bad, I would have given it back, no doubt but she didn’t complain and ate it. The meat was tough, hard to chew and just not the quality you would expect from a restaurant like this. I am sure they would have taken it back and gave her another so that’s not their fault. I would go back, prices are not cheap, but not overly priced either. Thanks for reading..More

We had a great relaxed lunch here as a family group. The kids were made very welcome and the whole atmosphere was relaxed. Paul is great craic! Food was great, fish cakes, delicious veggie lasagne and according to the men in the group they really...are some of the best burgers they ever had. Thanks guys, it's nice when several people recommend a place and it lives up to the hype :)More

Wanted more! Arrived looking forward to something more, staff very attentive and welcoming, starters excellent, duck tartlet and mackerel fish cakes , faultless. Main course of special fish , which was hake with a beur blanc sauce, very nice and a beef stroganoff which I thought...yes has to be perfect where we are, sadly, I thought more a goulash or beef stew, heavy and not fillet of beef, no surprises in the sweet menu, chocolate gateau, selection of ice cream, apple pie.. over all nice meal but expected more due to the name, tins of Guinness despensed as pints of Guinness, no matter how you pour it into a glass ots still a tin.. very sad looking Guinness after a while in its not so glorious pint glass. Wouldn't happen in the west of Ireland. Tad disappointed all round.More

Service without a smile, grumpy. Food was OK, but overpriced. So many better options in Killarney, as you can see yourself from this website.

Good man Tommy Tiernan. You didn't even eat here but TA is so useless it won't take down your review. Why don't you ring me and tell me the exact date you were in, what you ate and I'll check my CCTV??
