This really is a gem that must be visited, as your enter theres a feeling of a step back in time into tradition of what an Irish pub should be like which so many pubs in Killarney seem to have abandoned. The staff are very friendly and effortlessly chat away as you enjoy one of their pints of creamy guinness or the fantastic range of cocktails that my partner enjoyed immensely. The live music had the place hopping and was great fun. The Teddys Toastie has to be tried also. Teddys is a must visit when in Killarney.

This spot is a little gem. We visited O'Connors last week on our staycation after it was recommended to us by a few friends and it didn't disappoint. The pub had a lovely atmosphere, very attentive and friendly staff and the food (toasties and pizzas) was delicious! They were following all Covid guidelines and the place was spotless. If you looking for a pub with a friendly traditional Irish feel, then O'Connors is a must visit when in Killarney. The place also has a lovely cozy feel, I'd say it's lovely in winter too.

We were in Killarney for a few days as part of a tour group. Killarney was our favorite stop on the tour and O’Connor’s Pub was part of the reason. After getting into our hotel, we decided to get out and tour the shops, restaurants, and pubs of Killarney. We came across O’Connor’s and the outside looked to us what an Irish Pub should look like. The interior was even better. We found a place to sit across from the bar and ordered some pints. My Guinness was perfect. The inside was cozy and I imagine what pubs used to look like. The musicians showed up soon and the music was great and really made the experience even better.

Following the recommendations of the Routard, we enter this pub for dinner. The menu is very small and we are told that only a sandwich is available! We are 3 and still place an order. The waiter, barely kind brings us 3 sandwiches in which we notice that half the ingredients are missing! We call him back to ask him for an explanation: sorry, I don't have all the ingredients! Awards stay the same! Run away!

We dropped in here for a late lunch and after waiting for the table to be cleaned (everything still stuck to it) we ordered their soup and toasted sandwich which were delicious. It was only after we ate I noticed the member of staff who made our sandwiches was not wearing gloves (during our stay no member of staff washed their hands). She then began using the card machine which was handed to the customer to pay and then went back to making sandwiches and still no gloves. We then became more aware and noticed patrons were going to the bar to order, pay their bills. Staff moving from table to table with masks either on their chins or visors on top of their heads. During our time there only 1 member of staff wore her visor properly. I have photos of all this but will not post them. Needless to say we did not use our 105 mins.

Nice bar, not very busy when we got there. One gentleman on cocktail duty, he was doing a great job.. four other staff on duty, we waited about 10 minutes for our drinks, another couple had to eventually go to the bar a second time to get their order, this was about a 15 minute wait and another couple just left, they got tired waiting. Not sure if all staff were new maybe 🤔

This is a really lovely pub in Killarney town that has great atmosphere with live music from quite early in the evening. We popped in for a drink and had one of the best cocktails ever, the Buick, but the other cocktails on the menu looked interesting too. Would love to go back and try more!

Just back from O’Connors Traditional Pub on High St. in Killarney. Great atmosphere, staff so friendly & looked after everyone so so well. To top it off there was live music & the singer was superb - did a great variety of songs & requests & had the whole pub singing. Highly highly recommend a visit

The duo band name Small Hours were playing that night. They were fantastic. We had the best seat in the pub showing up 30 min before the scheduled performance. Drinks were good, I had to bring fries because the kitchen was already closed and I was starving. I appreciate that they didn't mind it. Great place.

A great little spot! We hadn’t intended on staying long, just for a quick drink after dinner in the nearby Mexican restaurant. Ended up staying pretty much most of the night, at least until the live music finished. Great atmosphere, even though it was very busy it was still a great place. Good cocktails, friendly staff and brilliant music. Can’t really fault anything here.

This was a really lovely pub to visit! The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We were served by Tom and Emily and found them both to be very professional and welcoming. The toasties were delicious! All covid restrictions were very well enforced. A great place to relax , enjoy a drink and listen to some great music!

This is a proper pub, stripped back to the essentials but modern enough to have a complete cocktail list, bottled beer and top notch coffees. The music played is also class. So this is a pub where anyone should be able to feel at home and have a good chat. Simple. PS ignore my food rating, how could I rate the food if I didn't have any and not sure they do food. It is a genuine pub.

Soup and sandwiches always delicious and very friendly and attentive staff. Seem to have the covid regulations on par unlike other places I have visited. Wait to be seated, table service etc, also. Best pint of Guinness in Killarney. Great spot

Having read the reviews on trip advisor, we said we would give o Connors a go for some late night drinks. Unfortunately when we went in, the tables weren’t were full with glasses not after being emptied. The place is dirty and run down. Killarney being a tourist town you think the pub owners would have some pride in their properties obviously not. I won’t be visiting o Connor’s again

Lovely pub and tasty cocktails with live music. I would be concerned with staffing/covid regulations though as some staff not wearing masks, they were letting people just walk in and sit down as there was no one at the door. One lovely blonde girl seemed to be trying to do everything on her own. Also, my partner is on a crutch at the moment and we were made go upstairs one evening as they were saving the tables downstairs for 'larger parties' we were told by a dark haired girl behind the bar. I liked the bar but the staff were under pressure and the owners should consider their health and safety commitments.
