First, there's a smiling young person standing outside offering a free taste of the flavor of the day. Next, you can sample more once inside. I tried gin and black currant and was hooked. Expensive (4.50 euros for the smallest size) but where else can...More

Mmmmm their ice cream is awesome. Try the Dingle gin and brown bread! Also try the wild garlic but maybe just for a taste of weird!

We were traveling with 5 teenagers and they loved Murphys Ice Cream. It became a nightly stop while they were in town. Excellent service and the flavors - can't say enough positive things about this place.

The prices are a tad on the high side, but where else are you gonna try gin flavored ice cream (and like it!)? Staff is engaging and friendly and will let you try any flavor you want before buying.

Various interesting ice cream flavours (as well as some traditional ones), including fresh garlic, and sea salt. Very tasty!

Murphys makes all of its own ice cream from scratch in Co. Kerry, using milk from the rare Kerry Cow breed and hand-made craft. Murphys makes its own sea salt for their sea salt ice cream and even make their own chocolate chips. They also serve coffees and a delicious range of hot chocolates.
