Super cosy and best chicken wings ever Best Irish Bar in my trip so far My mother raved about her goat cheese salad and appetizer of scallops.The salad and bread that accompanied it were amazing.

Major Colgan's is located in the heart of Killarney National Park. With a great sense of history and superb food it is the perfect venue for dining in Killarney. Enjoy a selection of menu options, drinks including craft Irish beers, whiskies and Irish coffee. Enjoy live entertainment with musicians and dancers on selected nights. The pub is named after one of Ireland's unsung heroes, Major PJ Colgan who fought for Ireland's independence and bought The Muckross Hotel (where the pub is located) in the 1940's. He was a popular local figure who had a strong sense of hospitality and welcome for all guests.
