When we were looking for a place to have dinner, we were unsure about where to go, a lot of places seemed to have similar menus. We were fed up looking & we’re about to give up, then we remembered someone had recommended a Mexican...restaurant in Killarney & after looking up the reviews, we figured it was this one. We got the tapas to try a bit of everything & we were not disappointed. We ate every bit of it. The restaurant is so cosy & chill. The staff are also really friendly & made sure to ask if we were happy with everything. It was also reasonably priced. It’s perfect for a date night. Would highly recommend. If we are ever in Killarney again we will be back.More

Every time myself and wife visit Killarney we pay a visit to this restaurant. It really is a hidden gem. The food is brilliant. The staff are always approaching the table asking if you need anything and if everything is OK. Everything on the menu...is worth trying.More

Food was excellent and great atmosphere. Service was great too. Will always go back when I'm in Killarney. We had to wait in a queue for about a half hour to get a table but that was OK. They're very efficient and you can get...a drink while you're waiting.More

Really disappointed with our visit here. I ordered the chicken fajitas and my partner ordered the fillet steak (to be cooked medium well). The steak which arrived was absolutely not fillet steak and was rare. The waitress apologised and said there was a mix up...in the kitchen. My partner couldn't eat it so ordered the pulled pork instead. Our chips were very greasy and were hard to stomach. The guacamole and sour cream didn't taste as if they were freshly made, perhaps they came from a jar/squeeze bottle? We received the bill but then had to wait a really long time to pay. We were just left there, forgotten about. The manger didn't clearly care either and didn't come over to apologise. I definitely wouldn't return. Extremely disappointed by our visit.More

High prices for mediocre food. At almost €20 for a "seafood sharing platter" it was disappointing to open a large brown box to 9 small pieces of lukewarm pieces of fish. A starter portion for 2 people at best. Not sure what Mexican in the...kitchen thinks the Mexican rice provided is Mexican rice because it isn't! What we got was boiled rice with peas. Also 12 small wraps for 4 adult fajitas - extremely small portions. A can of coke zero for €2.50 which clearly states on it that it shouldn't be sold individually as it is part of a multipack (sold in Tesco for a max €15 for 24 cans) That is some mark up.! Even the waitress was embarrassed when I questioned it. I know the hospitality sector has had it tough but blatantly overcharging your consumers isn't the to win us over. At almost €120 for what we got, you will definitely recoup all your lockdown losses by these prices - compliments of your customers. Can't understand either why you would only accept cash for takeout but will take cards at restaurant. Do better.More

Loved our meal in Casita Mexicana. Everything was so tasty and freshly prepared. They were extremely busy but the service was excellent. The portions are HUGE so go hungry or take some home for later on which they are more than happy to facilitate. Extremely...coeliac friendly dining also. Will definitely be backMore
