Sorry I went in here. Food was terrible and definitely cooked from frozen. Had the brie to start and you could tell it came from a bag 5 mins before... Burger for the mains was 100% cooked from frozen. Service lacked any customer service, get...people in and out as fast as possible... definitely better resteraunts in the town. Avoid this one.More
this restaurant was very nice and had lovely food. i got gammmon steak and chips and mash. and for dessert i had the chocolate cake (or brownie i can’t remember. i loved the food and it filled me up for the rest of the day....definitely recommendMore
This was the second time we were visiting the restaurant. We requested them a table near the window but the manager told us that we would not be able to sit on that table as it is for four and we were two. We understood...and took a table for two. However, during the whole experience I noticed that the best tables were given to the people who were friends or known to the manager. Even at one point she gave a table of four to one person. Observing all this it was a bit upsetting and could not avoid the feeling of being discriminated. The food is great though. The lamb shank was very good and my wife enjoyed the three course menu which was great as well. However, the whole experience from the start went to the downhill because of observing above stated facts.More
Best lamb shank I have ever eaten!!Lovely little restaurant, friendly staff and good service!!!Would recommend!
Good value restaurant , the food was lovely . Good sized portions . Always seems to be busy. The slow cooked lamb is really good.
Food was amazing, huge portions and piping hot. Lasagne was incredible. Service is really good and the staff are all very friendly and helpful.
Great food. They had also both severeal vegetarian and vegan options! The food tasted very nice! The staff was sweet. The toilets were clean.
For the prices this place charge for their food, you’d at least be expecting half decent service. The ladies here look so miserable and only seemed to give proper attention to their regular customers/people they knew. €7 for a bowl of soup during lunch time...is practically dublin prices. Food was nice but completely overpriced. Decor is outdated and old, no atmosphere, just a bit awkward in my opinion. The place has definitely gone downhill since CovidMore
Had mains of fish , which was nice. The sides are a set piece and go with all meals - a mix of tired vegetables mash and chips. At €16.95 ,approx, I would say overpriced. My big mistake was dessert, which was a Roulade ,...possibly taken from frozen section of Llydl with a generous scoop of ice cream @ €6.95 , totally overpriced for a gloopy excuse for Roulade. Really horrible. Service was functional, but unpleasant . Overall : its food , nothing special . It is overpriced The Restaurant is totally outdated and institutionalised .More
Very disappointed Felt we were an inconvenience No way helpful at all Asked for something in particular and told that's what we have on ,a choice of two dishes, Numerous people left within the time we were there Sorry we didn't leave Just didn't want...to make a scene Won't be returningMore
We have visited this restaurant on many occasions down through the years but it has gone down hill a little bit at a time each year, except when they were closed due to Covid. I felt like the place was a little outdated and seemed...kind of grubby looking. The food sadly tasted cheap and tasteless, the service was appalling and the waitress was snappy, rude and disinterested. No staff member came near us once to ask how was the food etc. The food was way over priced too and unfortunately the rashers looked like they hadn't even been cooked. Will never be returning here again as the service wasn't worth it.More
Food was fair good selection on and price good. But omg the staff let a lot to be spoken for. They were sitting around talking about customers their appearance was rough , but to be sitting around talking about people who come through the door...was sad. Won't be calling againMore
We ate here today and the food was excellent and service Is great, we have eaten here a few times before and everything is always lovely
On a recent trip to Killarney, we visited this restaurant after a friend told us it was good. Well we would say brilliant from the welcome at the door, to the amazing food and service. The fact it was full of locals says a lot,...simple well cooked food at a reasonable price. Don’t pass this restaurant by.More
