Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This cafe is beautiful and the food is excellent although a bit pricey! I had a reuben sandwich which was excellent but tiny for the 9.50 it cost. My kids had spicy chicken wings which they loved but a main size portion was 14.50. We had a wait of 30 mins but our food was served which is tricky with hungry kids. The wasps were a HUGE problem. The staff were very friendly. Would recommend.

Beautiful cafe off the Main Street in Killarney. I’m a huge fan of french toast bacon and maple syrup. Was delighted to see it on the menu and it was actually perfect 😍. Toast itself was proper brioche with chocolate chips (delicious with the bacon). The bacon was crispy exactly the way I like it. And just the right amount of maple syrup. I hate when it’s been drowned in the stuff. We also got a crepe and gf brownie two coffees breakfast smoothie and three apple juices. The total bill was around 43€ which I thought was great value especially as we cleared the plates and left very happy and full. Service was brilliant and staff were so nice. Will be back again before we head home

We had a lovely lunch here on Monday this week. It was only reopened a week after lockdown and was super busy as it was a nice day for outdoor dining. We had to wait for a table. When we got a table the staff were very clear that the kitchen was super busy so food would take about 25-30 mins from ordering which was fine with us - we were happy they set our expectations up front. The food was gorgeous! I had the smoked chicken sandwich and my husband had the steak sandwich. All super freshly prepared and piping hot. Staff were very helpful despite how busy they were. We would definitely return here.

We had a fabulous breakfast outdoors in the sun. We went for 10am and the cafe filled up very quickly showing its popularity. The omlette was so tasty and my Mom really enjoyed her eggs benedict, which came out nice and hot. The staff working here were really friendly and the overall experience was top notch. I would highly recommend eating here and will be returning for another amazing breakfast as soon as I can.

Good food for a high price. The food was good and they had good vegetarian options for breakfast. I had the vegetarian omelette with iced latte and my partner had Irish breakfast with hot latte. The food was good and the bread was delicious, however there was only about 1 teaspoon of beans served in a tiny dip sauce bowl on my partner’s Irish breakfast. The coffee wasn’t as good as expected and not to our liking therefore the loss of a star. All over it was an okay place for breakfast but more expensive than other cafes.

Popped here today 06/03/2021 Stood at the til awaiting ackowledgment Eventually seated, we were informed there was a backlog with food. They would be halting orders for 15 minutes to get on top of orders. We had no issues with this, fair and transparent. We ordered a couple of lovely coffees but they took 20 minutes. I counted at least 6 staff and seating for no more than 35 people at capacity. Eventually we were able to order food, the menu is small, I opted for the skillet, but unfortunately that had run out... I have a feeling it is a more intricate dish and they just didn't want to make it. We had a full irish each, I mean it's a fry up how difficult can that be? Well 50 minutes later it arrived. It was OK. They didn't have any brown sauce, I'm being fickle, but there's a shop 30 metres away... go get some? 2 Irish breakfast, 2 coffee and €29 euros later we left. Great concept but just run by people who can't deliver a good service.

Visited this place with my boyfriend. We got coffees -10/10 and we got the peanut butter chocolate banana smoothies they were amazing. We will definitely be back for those. He had a steak burrito and loved it. I had the roasted chicken sandwich which was delicious, it only missed the little portion of chips which normally comes with it on Mo-Fr. Service was nice, name and a number taken on arrival. Can't wait to be back once level 3 restrictions are lifted.

We had a tasty breakfast sitting outside -as the weather helped! It was a busy Sunday morning so my eggs benedict took a bit longer than usual but the staff was very friendly. The coffee is very good and so was my friend's smoothy. Definitely recommend to visit if you're around Killarney.

We stumbled across this place and thought we would try it for brunch. The waiter that seated us and gave us menus was friendly enough and he sent a waitress over fairly quickly to take our order. 30 mins later we still hadn't had our drinks, despite asking a couple of times having seen people seated after us get theirs served. Finally the drinks arrived just as the food did. I have to say my crushed avocado with poached eggs was really nice but my husbands full irish breakfast was swimming in oil, so much so that he had to use his napkin to soak it up and ended up leaving quite a lot. We mentioned it to the staff but they didn't seem overly interested. It's a shame as there is potential this place to be really good but they fell very short of the mark today 😞

Bank holiday Monday so quite busy. Staff were a bit rushed. Had to wait quite a while to order then food came without cutlery and drinks came after that. Pancakes and croissants were tasty which redeemed the review a bit. 3.5 really.

5 of us visited this cafe for lunch on a rainy day in Killarney. We were immediately struck by the chilled laid back feel of the place. Great tunes being played whilst we ate. Service was prompt and efficient with a great menu. We chose steak sandwiches and the spinach salad . The steak sandwich was of a good size and looked really wholesome . My friends said it was tasty. The spinach salad was a delight and music to my taste buds. A great dressing with walnuts and feta cheese. The chicken had a delicate Smokey flavour . This was complemented with some lovely houmous. I spread this on the lightly toasted bread that was on the side of the bowl. A great delight that brightened our day making light of the weather.

We went there speffically for a Ruben sandwich and had the misfortune of ordering one each. The sandwich presented well, however it looks like the chef shared the little bit of Pastarami he had left between the 2 sandwiches. Pastarami is the main Ingrident in a Ruben Ruben himself would not be pleased
