First time visited Kerry and the food here was delicious! Had the seafood chowder which is the tastiest that I’ve ever had and the lamb shank was well seasoned and tender. Warm ambience and would definitely return again!

Booked a stay in Killarney for my Birthday a few months back and due to Coivd wanted to plan our dining well in advance.. i looked at lots of places online but the Menu at Murphy Brownes just seemed to stand out from the rest.....I emailed and dealt with Dee.. and from that email on the service was exceptional!! I had Duck Springroll for starter, it was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. I had the Chicken Curry for mains, which again was divine, I cleared the plate. My partner had steak, cooked to perfection and served with mash and veg which he was delighted with!! We shared the Eton Mess for Dessert.. again scrumptious! We washed this down with a lovely bottle of Prosecco for the special occasion! The maître d' was wonderful on both arrival and when leaving.. So polite, a genuine lovely person! The waiting staff again very friendly and checked regularly to be sure we were ok. I can't wait to go back in the future, and I will be recommending 100%. Thank you for making my Birthday one to rememberMore

We were on a short break to Killarney and wanted - no needed - a nice meal in a nice place with friendly service and a warm welcome. And that's exactly what we got. We both had fish and chips and it was just perfect....I finished with Irish coffee - it is Killarney after all - and herself had a Jameson with ginger and lime. Lovely end to a lovely meal.More

Wow, WoW, WOW!!! Best meal we've had in any restaurant for a very very long time!!!@ My partner had the Mushroom soup and rack of Kerry Lamb. I had the Brushetta and the Ribeye Steak. I'd have ate a second Brushetta it was sooo good...and the steak was cooked to perfection (medium). We have ate a lot in Killarney but for some reason we passed this little gem. Never again. We will be back. The atmosphere was so pleasant and the staff were exceptional - I think we met the owner inside the counter (at the door) and she made us feel so welcome with her friendly and happy approach. We will definitely be back after Christmas once we've a babysitter and I definitely won't forget this night as we got engaged xx Thank you so much again, you made a great night even better xx Happy Christmas xxMore

We ate recently in this beautiful restaurant and the food was amazing. I had the goats cheese tartlet for starter and the mushroom ravioli for mains, which were both to die for. I would highly recommend this place. Staff so friendly also.

I first ate In this restaurant in 2019. Was looking forward to a return visit and it did not disappoint. My daughter and i both had the goats cheese starters. I then had fish while she had a vegetarian option. Great desserts and coffee. Wonderful...food, big portions, great variety at a reasonable price. Covid certs were checked on our way in. A very positive experience. If you haven't been there, you should try it. A hidden gem!More
