This one was recommended by a fellow American waiting in cue for an ATM down the street. He spoke highly of the prawns and the boxty. The building has been around since 1840 but the decor was lovely with a walkup to dine on the...More

Bricin has a great local & visitor clientele. The food is excellent, choice is good & service is friendly. Decor is traditional & a bit more rustic than linen napkins & it works well. Wines here are lovely too. There's always a good buzz &...More

One of our most memorable meals and overall experiences while in Ireland occurred at Bricin in Killarney recently. Downstairs from the restaurant features a marvelous store filled not with the usual malarkey pawned off on unsuspecting out-of-towners, but rather with thoughtful, unique, and well-made keepsakes...More

Lovely little restaurant in heart of Killarney. We found the food was a little overpriced though. Lovely friendly host greeted us when we arrived.

Sorry just seeing this now. Hope you haven't been. I would pull up their website and check the menu. I can't recall if there was a vegan boxty or not, sorry.

Set above Bricín Shop, Bricín Restaurant and Boxty House is a well known name on the lips of many people. Opened in November 1991, its popularity is down to the fine food produced by Owner/Chef Paddy McGuire and by the warmth of welcome and hospitality shown front of house by Owner Johnny McGuire. Between them they have an exceptional product that has been 21 years plus in the making.
