Small upstairs restaurant. Service was good. Food was ok. Price was high for what you get. You pay for the location.

This restaurant was good but not my favorite. They have a set menu and an early bird menu. I got the seafood chowder which had a good flavor but hardly any pieces of seafood in it. I ordered the Boxty which is a traditional potato...More

We enjoyed sampling a traditional Irish dish called boxties, which are thin potato pancakes stuffed with various fillings. Choices included lamb with vegetables, chicken with a creamy tarragon sauce and ratatouille. Drinks were reasonably priced. Overall, an interesting take on traditional pub fare.

Inviting menu, fantastic service, delightful food and in perfect portions, all cooked to perfection - worth every bit of its superior rating on TA - Chicken Caesar Salad was a wonderful starter - prawns were delish too - thank you Cronins

Nice local restaurant with nice food, the mains could have been nicer. Their speciality dish Boxty dishes were slightly less special, which was a comment from more than one table.

Had never been to Killarney before and so we made reservations at the Bricin based on prior reviews. Happy we made an early reservation online as the restaurant became very crowded by the time we finished our meal. Although the atmosphere is nice, most customers...More

Good food. Dark interior. Friendly service. Nice shop on ground floor. Not sure I would go back, but I’m not a fan of Killarney. Go to Kinsale instead.

Sorry just seeing this now. Hope you haven't been. I would pull up their website and check the menu. I can't recall if there was a vegan boxty or not, sorry.

Set above Bricín Shop, Bricín Restaurant and Boxty House is a well known name on the lips of many people. Opened in November 1991, its popularity is down to the fine food produced by Owner/Chef Paddy McGuire and by the warmth of welcome and hospitality shown front of house by Owner Johnny McGuire. Between them they have an exceptional product that has been 21 years plus in the making.
