Probably my second time reviewing this restaurant but simply must give praise when due. This time reservation was as a couple and the starter, meal and desert couldn't be faulted. Staff helpful while not intrusive. Selection of gins and whiskeys to tempt all. Well worth...a visit but do book if wishing to dine.More

Let me say that my review is based completely on my excitement and expectations prior to my visit and then my feeling after leaving the restaurant. The staff - was phenomenal. Kind. Courteous. Could not have asked for more. The food was good - not...great. Thats ok as I wasn't expecting anything grandiose so no knock here. The whiskey menu - WOW! Huge selection. So much of a selection that I actually browsed their offerings via their website prior so I knew exactly what I wanted to order. But - thats the knock. I went in specifically hoping to try 4 different whiskeys. All 4 were listed at $25/pour on their website but, when I asked for the pours as they weren't listed on the restaurant menu, I was told they were $35-$40/pour. I asked about two other pours they had listed and was told they didn't have those bottles at the bar. After this, I ended up not getting any whiskey from the place I put on our list specifically because of their whiskey offerings. In short, I went to a whiskey bar for whiskey and some food and I ended up with some food and no whiskey. I felt a little deceived (especially because of the pricing discrepancies) and would not visit here again.More

Absolutely phenomenal experience. The food was amazing and we went back two nights in a row for the whiskey. Ended up buying a bottle rather than paying for it to be shipped to New Zealand! Thanks so much to the staff for their amazing recommendations....Slàinte!More

This place is a must for whiskey lovers!!! Whether it is Irish Whiskey or American (Pappy and all), they have it all. We love Midleton Irish Whiskey and were able to taste a number of special versions that are not available anywhere. We had dinner...first and the food was great not expected but pleasantyly surprise. Having not looked at the menu prior, our expectation was more comfort or pub food but think more of gastropub!More

We had a reservation for dinner here (made via email). I did the gin flight which was excellent! I ended up buying the Killarney heather and honey! All three others had whiskey flights. Got the cheese board to go with and then dinner. Son had...the lamb and learned he likes the peet-smoked whiskey. His favorite restaurant of the trip. Daniel was charming and knew his stuff. He was excellent!More

This restaurant/whiskey bar is heaven for whiskey lovers. Knowledgeable staff, over 1,500 whiskeys including collectors items from all over the world. The lamb loin was perfectly and the slides were an interesting trio of flavors. The whiskey flight tastings are really well put together.

One of our favorites during our recent trip to Ireland. Salena was super helpful and was able to help us purchase a superb bottle of whiskey to bring home. I ate the pea and asparagus risotto that was outstanding. I combined it with a Killarney...Devils Helles along with a Kinnega Devils Backbone. My wife had the Cronins fillet of beef along with a O’Darcy’s Field Old Fashion and raved about how amazing both tasted.More

This bar knows how to make delicious drinks. I told them what type of sweetness I liked for my drinks and challenged them to making something of their liking. The BEST drinks I have ever had. Soooo delicious, a must stop!!

Staff is incredibly friendly, sociable, and attentive. There’s a great selection of wines, local and international craft beers, and cocktails. My group especially enjoyed the Kate Crowley cocktail, and I also loved the Bonac gin and tonic (pictured). We loved the cheese board. This is...THE place to go if you’re getting tired of the pub scene!More

I dined here with my husband and daughter on a Friday night. We have been looking for that foodie experience since we arrived in Ireland a little over a week ago. This was it! Loved the cheese and charcuterie, and my husband’s steak was a...great cut (more like what we’re used to in the US than what we’ve been served here previously). We really enjoyed the creative cocktails. The old fashioned with the cardamom and ginger infused whiskey was my favorite. I’ll be recommending Celtic Whiskey Bar and Larder to all friends and family visiting Ireland in the future.More

We do indeed, for example our delicious goats cheese and beetroot salad or our smoked salmon salad. Alternatively we can use gluten free bread instead of brioche for our sliders.
