This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Ben was the most amazing server and really completed our night here. I would highly HIGHLY recommend this place.

We had a virtual cocktail class offered by the wonderfully knowledgeable Luke, with carefully packaged and quality ingredients. I thoroughly enjoyed the history, stories and questions we got to ask, and would happily do this again in the future.

We had the pleasure of having an online cocktail class with Luke from Celtic Whiskey Bar & Larder for a team night 'out'. Everything went super smoothly with every team member receiving all cocktail ingredients and tools via post. On the day Luke held a...fun and informative session with the team and everyone made amazing cocktails and greatly enjoyed themselves!More

Had a really nice evening here. Brilliant drinks menu. Great food menu and what we had was gorgeous. The staff were lovely too - really friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. Cannot say enough how nice and welcoming this place is. Food wise,...the monkfish was amazing. Only have two small criticisms. The cheeseboard needs more cheese. €12.50 for 4 pieces of cheese, each one would fit on a desert spoon,,, it's not good value. The grapes and crackers are dressing, a cheese board needs cheese! Even throw a big hunk of local cheddar with it. not expensive and would change it in terms of value. Only other thing that irked me was seeing a table of 8 when government rules allow for 6. Would I eat or drink there again? Absolutely, I hope to return.More

Having spend the prior 6 days traveling around west Cork (Kinsale, Glengarriff etc) we went here with low expectations. There were 6 in our party and NOBODY had a bad meal.... in fact everybody's was exceptionally complementary on their individual meals. I had a steak...and its been a very long time since I had anything as tender and done to perfection. We would rate their food as best in the West Cork / Kerry region. This is the very first time I've ever rated a restaurant 5 star!More

We visited on a Thursday evening. Booked well in advance, correspondence was excellent. Booked in for 7.30, we arrived to an empty place, bar two other people, and immediately feared the worst. We could not have been more wrong. The place was packed within 30...minutes and the food was outstanding. My girlfriend had the mussels followed by the beef. I had chicken wings followed by the venison. We were both blown away. The starters were excellent and we both said mains will do well to follow but it went to a different level. Tremendous cooking, the seasoning on the meats was top notch, and stunning presentation. A taste that we’ll remember for some time. Delightful also, was the desert of the week which was panna cotta with berry compote and raspberry sorbet. We both cleared that too but the mains were the star! My girlfriend loved the cocktails. I enjoyed some of the extensive range of whiskey they provide. The lads were great, very knowledgeable and engaging. Superb place, amazing food and quality drinks. Next time we’re in Killarney, we’ll be back. Keep doing what you’re doing!More

The quality of the food was superb, especially the venison! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Felt very secure with their Covid precautions:- all staff were wearing face masks. If you like your whiskey there were 10 pages of them in the drinks menu! Overall...this was a great experience on our last night in Killarney.More

We had dinner and drinks as a couple here in August. The drinks were fantastic and the staff were very knowledgeable/helpful. We felt the food lacked in flavour and the portion of bone marrow was tiny even for a starter. We’d definitely come back for...drinks but not food.More

We do indeed, for example our delicious goats cheese and beetroot salad or our smoked salmon salad. Alternatively we can use gluten free bread instead of brioche for our sliders.
