Was left a little bit disappointed, perhaps due to the good reviews here. Still ok food but had better elsewhere for a lower price

Similar to a lot of nearby hotels where you can order food in the bar, The River Bar is another great example of where you can find great mid-range food in a comfortable atmosphere. More formal than bar food in the states, yet not as...expensive as a full high-end restaurant.More

We have stayed here several times in the past, and always found this a cosy place. Today went for dinner with our 4 years old. We had burger, sea bass and fish for our son. Quality was great, the taste really great on all 3...meals. We also had a soda, glad of wine and a beer. The service was way better than what we have experienced in other restaurants. It’s a brilliant place to bring kids, they have toys in the hall for kids, the hotel and staff are perfectly nice. And the price was ok to. This is second time we went for dinner here. And we will be back. I can only recommend this place as a restaurant and hotel to. The only reason we’re not staying here any more, is there are no swimming pool.More

Staff were helpful and friendly. Food great with a good selection. Loved that you could order your hot breakfast after the cold elements of the buffet.

Relaxing and friendly with good quality pint. Had food which was very tasty.Staff were friendly and efficient also very helpful. Would have preferred if lighting was brighter.The bar premises was very clean also the toilets.

My wife and I stayed in the Riverside Hotel recently and had the good fortune to dine in the River Bar. The service was very good and friendly. The food arrived very quickly and tasted as good as it looked! Later we stopped in again...for drinks, the bar staff were as helpful and friendly as the dining staff had been, offering us tips on what to see around Killarney. All in all a very pleasant stay for us. We highly recommend the Riverside Hotel and are already planning our return.More

Have to say the staff were a pleasure to deal with from the desk to the Bar , great location spotless clean Excellent Food & good value all round. Will be heading back to the Kingdom again and will stay at this venue ..........
