I would go into this cafe in Eyre Square regular enough. It is always so welcoming and a pleasant experience. Owners and staff give a superb service and are very friendly. Would definitely highly recommend for breakfast coffee lunch or light snacks. You won’t be...disappointedMore

We went for breakfast here this morning. The second we walked in the door the lovely Colm greeted us and was so friendly. I got the breakfast bagel and my boyfriend had the full Irish. They were both delicious! BEST IN GALWAY! Colm and Chelsea...were both unbelievably welcoming and friendly I cannot recommend esquires enough!More

I've been going to Esquires since they opened and they have never failed me, or those who I go with. There would a few pickier eaters in the group and they have always catered to (and remembered) our little preferences. The food is always fresh,...warm and tasty and although they are working off a limited menu because they're part of a group you'd never really think of it. Their coffee is too die for! They have some of the best barista staff in Galway and some of the friendliest overall staff I've ever come across. Fair play Carol & Colm, Aisling and co, you're an absolute credit to yourselves.More

Absolutely love the coffee, such a good size! Love the pancakes, only wish it was a bigger portion! :)

I came here with my friends on our staycation. The staff were extremely friendly from minute we walked in. Although they were busy , they made a conscious effort to be accommodating and get us seated as soon as possible. The atmosphere was great ,...the food was stunning and all the staff were chatty and friendly. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Galway.More

The art of meet and greet is the most important in any eatery and that’s just what you'll find in abundance at Esquires, Eyre Square, Galway. Colm McDonagh and his wife are the chef/owners of this coffee shop where breakfast and lunch are served. I...opted for the porridge with berry compote with a chopped nut topping. It was earthy, hearty and totally satisfying. I inhaled it, it was so good. I noticed Colm visited every table with a word, a smile and above all, suggesting if there was anything else required, to just ask. Important to note, no extra charge for almond, rice or coconut milk as well as butter and jam. I’m going back tomorrow for the veggie breakfast, can’t wait.More

We went for breakfast in this lovely place. The staff were so friendly and attentive. Colm went out of his way to chat with everyone there and make them feel welcome. The food and coffee was also delicious!

Esquires is without a doubt the most comfortable, friendly, affordable place to eat in Galway. I’m a student and I come here often with my friends. The portions are generous, especially the coffee! Colm and his staff provide the most efficient and personal service I...have ever experienced. Colm spares nothing in making you feel welcome and always makes time to chat even when the cafe is full. If you haven’t eaten here you’re missing out!!! The full package.More

Came here for a quick bite after a long bus - such a nice atmosphere. Was seated really quickly and Colm couldn’t have been friendlier! I got the soup and it was perfect. Will definitely be coming back😊
