Went into this pub with a few mates after 1 nice pint in Blake’s, we were refused drink in the pub after one drink in a previous pub, no reason given and no proper explanation, nobody drunk obviously after one pint , disgusted and the...toilets were dirty, the man with no hair was extremely dismissive and aggressiveMore

What a fantastic bar! Mike and his staff welcomed 17 guys brilliantly well and all the staff were so friendly. Superb music, atmosphere, beer. We went in for 1 pint and stayed in there for over 4 hours. You must seek this place out. Thanks...to Donal and Sean from St Jude's for the recommendationMore

This pub is a great place to entertain yourself. We were a stag group of 40 and the place was perfect for a few hours. Good drinks and all live horse racing on the tv. Paddy power and Ladbrokes only 30 seconds walk away.

Barr an chaladgh is a bit off the beaten track but it's well worth the 5 min walk to get to from shop street. The atmosphere is more authentic of a boozer and isn't packed to the rafters. When they have music playing it makes...for an especially good atmosphere. The drinks are also cheaper than shop street and cross street too. The smell of fire turf burning in the fire is a lovely smell during the winter and gives the place a great quality.More
