We arrived without reservations on a Monday night and they were able to seat us in the bar area. We had a table by the door and they offered to move us away from the door after a table opened up but we told them...we were fine and didn't need to bother. The service was impeccable. Our server was very attentive and helpful. We had some fun cocktails to start the evening with. My family all ordered fish dishes which were well received. I had the lamb shoulder which was quite good. They have a nice wine selection as well. This was one of our favorite meals in Galway.More

We totally enjoyed our meal at this lovely restaurant. The drinks, the starters, the main meal and the dessert were all excellent. My husband and I both really enjoyed the lamb shoulder. The service was fantastic; attentive and pleasant.

So disappointed. We had big expectations for this place after reading reviews etc. Starter was scallops which were not seasoned...but at least there was salt and pepper on the table. Next for main course I ordered the strip loin medium rare. I know the butchers...that were mentioned on the menu so I thought that there would be no issue. It was pinkish in the middle but it was do powder dry that it was not nice at all. What happened? Was it an old one from earlier that was forgotten? Was it too long under the lights? Whatever reason cooking a medium rare steak is not rocket science.More

We took a long time to choose a restaurant and our research was well worth it. Food & service were excellent. I had mussels and monkfish and my other half had goat's cheese & lamb. All very very good. We were looked after by Colum...& Laura who couldn't have been nicer. And a special shout out to the barman who mixed a great Tommy's Margerita even though he hadn't done one before. We will be back.More

What a dull and bland dish! So disappointing! I couldn’t taste the coconut in the coconut rice, I got 3 green beans and the chicken was not cooked in the so called sticky rice! The decor and ambiance was nice

We were given a birthday voucher for here whilst on holidays in Galway. It’s a set Sunday lunch/ dinner menu with a reasonable variety to choose from. We had goats cheese starters and soup, both of which were delicious. I had the roast lamb and...hubby had trout , plenty of veg sides given, creamed potatoes were lovely and there were no hidden extras in the bill Great wee restaurant, staff efficient and pleasant would highly recommendMore

Mussels were very tasty, my salad was fresh and perfectly balanced. The rest of our party had hake and chowder. Lovely creamy pints of guiness. Service was prompt and friendly during a very busy period. Will return on our next visit to Galway.

I had dinner at the Brasserie last Friday, with 25 of my work colleagues. We did not have a mediocre dish between us. We sat down at 4pm and had a three course meal, every dish that came out was incredible. The staff were attentive...and very pleasant at all times, they cleaned away quickly after each course and checked each time to make sure everyone was happy with their meal. One colleague turned up at 6.10pm and was still given a main and dessert. With no fuss and the staff who must have been frustrated hid it very well. I cannot recommend this place enough, thank you to everyone who played a part in our evening. You were all truly amazing xMore
