Anytime we visit Galway we always stop here for dining as we can never fault the food or service and it’s the reason we keep coming back. This visit was no different even with covid restrictions and protocols we didn’t feel it impacted our visit.... We booked a couple weeks in advance as with it being Christmas week we new it would be hard sourced . Emer who took the booking was a pleasure to deal with and explain the protocols and time limit we had , our friends also booked and they had the same thing to say . While we couldn’t sit together Emer was happy to place them close to us while maintaining a safe distance. Food was incredible that night the steaks top class , cauliflower curry full of flavour and the brownie for desert really ended the meal on a high. Even our friends on the next table couldn’t fault a thing so much so they rebooked the next day again for an early sitting . We were served by the wonderful Aoife H that night who couldn’t be more helpful when explaining the menu wine and serving us through the evening. Even with the uncertainty and announcement of a third lockdown she was extremely professional and didn’t let the news impact her service . She also served our friends again the next day and was still as friendly as ever . Our friends have found a new favourite in Galway and no doubt will be all back when we can. Stay safe the Walshe’s and Kelly’sMore

Wonderful food. Best roast beef dinner we’ve had in Ireland in months. Service was good. Pricing was great 25€ for 3 course. Ambiance was ruined by a guest sitting behind us streaming a soccer match on his phone, staff allowed him to do it with...the commentary loud and him obnoxiously shouting at the game. Ruined our dessert and end of our main course and it was clear others around us weren’t happy either but staff did nothing about it.More

We had Aoife H as our waitress, the most amazing service and the right amount of chat too. I would high recommend this place to eat any type of meal, family or couples. Very reasonably priced. The restaurant has the perfect feeling of smart causal...for all types of events. Very COVID friendly and not rushed at all. Food was incredible and tasted fresh.More

The food and service in this restaurant is second to none. The starters of mussels and goats cheese with a choice of in house brown bread were delicious and mains of lamb and hake were both cooked to perfection. Sides of fresh vegetables and chips...were piping hot. The staff were very friendly and have safe comfortable guidelines in place in the restaurant and bar during covid. Reasonably priced. Will be back again and soonMore

Restarted trip advisor just to leave this review, booked an evening meal a few days in advance. Lovely friendly booking service, our waitress Aoife was perfect from start to finish. Ann-Marie the manager ( I believe ) was friendly but not intrusive. Recommendations were excellent....Wine list good but could use a high end selection, Pomerol was excellent. Food was top class, mussels and the evening special of Scallops cooked to perfection, if a little heavy on the peas and purée. Main courses of Monkfish and Fillet Steak were cooked and served to perfection. Creme brûlée dessert comes highly recommended, finished a little under done but no complaints at all, crisped well. Irish Coffees and a drink after were well accommodated during these trying times. Highly recommend and will visit again.More

Arrived with no booking on a busy night. Host that greeted us was exceptionally friendly. Food was top class. Great atmosphere. Spotlessly clean. And the bread made in house by chef was left us wanting to buy the loaves!! Unreal all round
