We stopped in to get out of the rain and found an adorable pub, part maze, part crowded family house. Seriously, it's like a long time ago a family started making and serving whisky in their house and tons of people came, sat in all the corners and had so much fun they never left. The staff were friendly and... More

Visited on my parents recommendation as they have to go here when they're in Galway. So glad I took there advice. It's a small place and indoor seating is tricky to get but we were lucky enough to get a little booth to ourselves. The staff were lovely and recommended some tasty locally brewed beers. Decided to get sandwiches, which... More

Great place to stop by. It's small inside but the fun was to sit outside. We sat for a few hours because locals visit this place and it was great to talk to them. €5.00 per beer which is a fair price. Read the sign BEFORE you enter the restroom area...funny.

Its a toss up between the crane and Neachtains for best pubs in Galway. I have been Neachtains a few times.....always good .....nice chilled place for a pint ...the other night there was great trad session. They are picky about stag parties and people being too drunk so just watch out .

An evening aperitif turned into us just leaving here for dinner and returning to enjoy the night in this great pub. The place is buzzing! Lots of people, cultures all mixed in for good measure. Quirky little nooks and spaces to sit throughout, like a little maze. Great, fast and attentive staff. Agatha was outstanding. Loved their range of whiskeys... More

I absolutely adored this pub! It's tiny but the atmosphere is enormous. So much energetic live music and such a fun atmosphere. We came here on a Sunday evening and I can't even imagine what it would be like on a Friday or Saturday. An absolute must!

I really don't get the hype around this place. I have had a few poor experiences in here where bar staff are slow to serve and will serve there friends at the back of queues before people at the front.

I visited here with friends from Australia for an afternoon drink while taking in the sights of Galway. We waited at the bar for 15mins before we went to the other side for service. The staff could not have been more ignorant and rude when approached. The other bar was busy with tourists waiting to be served wondering what was going on.Can't believe... Awesome little pub in the heart of Galway, one of the best that also offers outside seating area. The inside is no less charming, with séparés and nice people.
