Ate here today and the food was poor. I had a Burger and it was not nice they came with Sweet potato fries and they were worse. Given 2 stars because the girl who served us was lovely and my friend Had Desert and that was nice.

A great venue for a night out always lively and good craic. The food is nothing to shout about I had the chicken curry which was one of the worst I've had. The staff are also quite rude and unhelpful. But it is still a very busy pub.

Can't get it in to my head as to why people think this is a good pub! The food is average at best, the pints are absolutely septic, the staff haven't a clue how to poor a pint, bouncers think they're above everyone! Plenty of way better pubs are the city with much better food and with staff that can actually poor a... More

We used Al Pucan on three occasions before and after the Connacht v Wasps match in December. We had coffee in the morning and Guinness at lunchtime and in the evening. It was quiet in the morning, but packed to the rafters at lunchtime and in the evening. A big screen showed rugby during the afternoon. We chose Al Pucan... More

Called in here for tea one evening. It was busy when we entered so had to walk around to find a free table. No staff member offered to assist or see what we were looking for. When we did get table we got served quickly and the food arrived very soon after. The food was good basic pub grub. Nothing... More

I've eaten here on a few occasions and it's perfectly adequate without being anything special. We returned here one Friday evening stopping for a drink. I ordered Guinness and cider, the barman nearly instantly popped up the drinks..... So it bugged be to know if he did what I think he did, so I ordered the drinks from the same... More

Nice bar located just off Eyre square. We popped in for a drink one Saturday night as it was right beside the hotel we were staying in. Good music and atmosphere. Drinks weren't too expensive and the staff were friendly. Their Facebook like counter behind the bar actually updates if you like their page which we found quite entertaining. Seemed... More
