Myself and partner ate in here. We both got the chicken goujons and chips with salad and coleslaw. It was very nice, nothing special but was good value for money and just what we wanted.

You have more variety upstairs if you are prepared to climb two stairs, toilets also on the third level which is difficult if you have knee problems. Salads and hot lunches and all day breakfast downstairs, the food is moderate apart from the awful chips. Service fast and they serve tea with tea leaves which I love.

We ate at GBC for a Sunday lunch and the meals were fine, nothing exceptional for the money. I found the meals to consist of too much puree / mashed food, which just gave the feel of a canteen experience.

The seafood chowder was recommended by our tour guide. he recommendation was well founded. The chowder was great with plenty of fish pieces, mussels, shrimp and other sea pieces. I would return without hesitation

My family of 5 had a terrific breakfast at GBC. Cafeteria style, the food was good and the place is clean. Sit in the front window and get a front row seat watching Irish life! Enjoy.

Enjoyed a roasted turkey, stuffing and cranberry sandwich on the FRESHEST warm ciabatta bread, with salad. Menu offers great selection of sandwiches, meals and cafe drinks. Arrive before noon to beat the lunch crowd.

We ate there for a group meal and had a set menu. We didn't even have the option to refuse the food. They have pasty white bread set out on the table and the bread served with my soup was rock hard. Their vegetarian option consisted of under cooked, unseasoned rice and mushy, over seasoned vegetables some of which were... More

Stepped in for a cuppa tea and stayed for lunch. Seafood chowder was top notch and full of fresh seafood. Brown bread was very good. Service was quick and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Great place to people watch from the window seats.

Went in for brunch on Sunday morning/afternoon, as we were inbetween breakfast and lunch we opted for toasted sandwiches which I have to say were very tasty - get the cajun chicken it was fab!! While we were queuing to order we could see that they had a great selection of food, from scones/cakes, sandwiches, carvery dinners so it would... More

Coffee and food (seafood chowder) was fine. Service rather just ok. Not living up to the charm of the premises for sure. Wifi did not work.
