Had a couple of bad experiences before, but the new waiting staff are lovely and friendly. Have to say I really do enjoy the food here. I really love the tagines they do and also the skewers. And always a great big portion

Came here because they were the only play on Quay street open on Christmas Eve. Place was emptying out, but they seated and served as around 6:15pm. The menu was huge, with a vast array of vegetarian options, Moroccan dishes, and traditional fare. I loved my lamb kebab and my fiancée enjoyed her vegetable couscous, which she described as her... I love this place because in my family there are two vegans and two meat lovers. The High café have nice options for all of us! It's great that you can bring your own wine too - so it's a good place to start your night out!

Excellent food for the price offered. I would give max marks if it wasn't for staff being very slow.

Recently visited the High Cafe based on a recommendation and was very taken with the place. A really nice atmosphere and very friendly service. Food was really excellent. We shared a lime chicken caesar salad to start followed by fish cakes and lamb skewers. The food was delicious, hot and nicely presented. The High Cafe doesn't serve wine but you... More

Just had a meal here . Portion sides are huge and food is delicious. Staff very friendly and couldn't do enough for us . It's a byob restaurant . Very reasonably priced . Well worth a visit.

Cozy place right in Galway city. Good place to hang out with friends. However, there was a rather long waiting time for the food and the waitress seemed really stressed.

200 plus restaurants in Quay st, of course we could not eat in all. Only one I found that a doggy bag was needed. Add an order of oven baked bread for 5 euro, you will take half your meal home. My partner had the salmon spaghetti, I don't like salmon, I loved it ( took it when she was... More

Been here for lunch. They have a great tagine :) and wonderful desserts. Its quite hard to notice its a cafe as its one narrow stairway going up. But it is situated in the middle of the busy street and they have their menu set out for you to look at.
