Dropped in on Saturday afternoon. The location is on a busy pedestrian street in the city centre. The place was busy with seats outside occupied. We decided to eat indoors in the upstairs section. Luckily we didn't have to wait for a table. People who arrived after us had to queue (on the stairway!) for a few minutes. Space is... More

On our first afternoon in Galway, we found this wonderful cafe/shop and had a delightful afternoon tea consisting of triple chocolate cake with white chocolate icing and berry curd plus traditional lemonade which in all our cases contained frozen berries. It’s a family owned store set up in 1925 and it looked like a great place to buy locally sourced... More

We just popped in to satisfy our sweet tooth and rest our legs. I had the berry compote meringue while my wife had the brownie sundae with salted caramel. They were both excellent and really hit the spot! On a side I absolutely love their shop and could leave with bags of the produce they stock.

I love browsing here. Whether it be for food or drink. Great selection. Friendly staff. They will make up a nice food/drink basket if you want.

Cambridge's always has a queue, no, don't be put off by that. It moves fast enough and once seated the food is lovely! While waiting in the queue staff routinely offer nibbles of cookies and the like. The food is fresh, lots locally sourced and well priced. Staff are friendly and helpful. Downstairs is home to a fabulous shop selling... More

I arrived with my parents. Waited 25min for a table. It was very busy and were told it would be a long wait. The food was great as always however the service was a bit miss matched. Server forgot our 2 bowls of fries they arrived after we had finished our meals. It was the end of November and it... More

Really enjoyed my visit to this fabulous shop. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating , especially a young man who helped me choose my gin, think his name was Andrew. Will definitely be returning.

A gem in the centre of Galway that I never knew existed, the bottom floor is a very extensive deli and fine food area with restaurant upstairs. Lovely selection of snacks and full meals and very nicely presented, definitely worth a revisit

Hey :) We recently had a lunch at this very busy restaurant, I guess the location helps. The food was nothing special. I think a meal should always look better than the plate that carries it, it was not the case. We had a very sad lasagna as the ketchup offered kindly by the waiter never arrived to our son.... More
