Its been a few years since we were last year, but I'm happy to say it's still lovely. One of my favorites in Galway. Great food and very reasonable. Will definitely be back next time we are in salthill.

This microbrewery offers a large selection of beers around 28 on tap. The Galway Bay beer which is the main bee available has a great selection and is of a great palate. Great food also available and the staff were very helpful.

Delicious dinner, excellent beer. That's what we always expect from a Galway Brewing bar. Oslo, where GBC started did not disappoint. Great spot to stop for a pint and a bite.

Fantastic selection of beers and the buttermilk chicken is absolutely lovely. Bar staff are very friendly and accommodating. Only reason it's not 5 star as they had ran out of first choice on menu. The waiting staff could also learn a thing or two from the bar staff. This is my second visit and has been great on both occasions.

Meeting a friend who is in Galway for the night is always a challenge. Where will we eat? The Oslo is a great place. A lovely open fire and friendly staff. Plus their own home made beers! I had their signature beef burger and super chips and my colleague had the fish and chips. The server was delightful. She had... More

I have been here twice. Once in December before a gig, had dinner and drinks...service was excellent, food was excellent, atmosphere was excellent! I then returned a couple of Sundays ago with my family from Clare for Sunday lunch. Service was a disgrace by our server (I wont name her but id imagine there were many complaints)...she was very impatient,... More

Over 20 beers on tap and numerous more in bottles makes this a must for all craft beer enthusiasts. As well as the beer, there is a small menu. We had buttermilk chicken in hot sauce. Some of the best I've had. Also tried the steak sambo, onion rings and sweet potatoe fries. All excellent and great with the beer... More

I've visited this establishment quite a few times and not once have I ever been let down. From the food, the wide range of craft brews, the staff and the design everything locks in together perfectly like a satisfying jigsaw. Anytime I've eaten here the food is always bursting with flavour and the temperature is always perfect. The range of... More

Wife and I dropped in for dinner on a Sunday. She had the beef pie and I had the lamb and both were good. Overall, a great pub experience, good food and the microbrew beer (milk stout and IPA) were great. You won't be disappointed.

Description
The Oslo Bar in Salthill boasts the first and only Microbrewery in Galway which offers a great range of international beers, fresh food and a variety of novel evenings. With an ever changing menu the Oslo keeps people coming back to enjoy the many creative dishes inspiried by "in-season and fresh" ingredents. There is a wide range of international beers but while there you should try our own Bay Ale and Stormy Porter - brewed right on the premises. The front portion contains a comfortable range of eclectic furniture and the back part, set up with German beer garden style sturdy tables. The name Oslo itself comes from the Oslo Hotel which once encompassed the whole premises.Focused on food with a daily menu served from 12 until 10 daily. Select from a good range of interesting dishes. Enjoy the Weekend with brunch including Eggs Benedict and French toast which has fast become something of a Galway institution. An open fire and large comfortable smoking area tick a few more boxes making the Oslo a really great destination.
