We stumbled on this place a bit outside of the busy Latin Quarter and loved it! Sumptuous cheese and charcuterie plates--sufficient for a meal--with a wonderful selection of wines of much higher quality than the junk served in the pubs, but not at higher prices....The host was so warm and friendly. Absolutely loved this place. Nice break from beer elsewhere. Great wine selection with GENEROUS pours from Barry the owner. Such a great spot, intimate (only 4-5 tables), with incredible array of cheese choices. While I was there they were hosting a great mix: well behaved...hen party, double date of people who had been visiting from abroad and return regularly, two girls who were catching up, as well as myself as solo traveller. Its great mix of music, people watching, and chat with the owners. Def a 10/10 and will return. Can’t say enough good things about the hospitality that Barry and his wife demonstrate. We had a girls night in Trieste tonight and not only was the cheese board delicious, the service was absolutely incredible! Barry went out of his way to make sure we were well looked after for the night and he was just fantastic from the...start of the night till the end. This may seem small but my taxi arrived before my friends taxi and Barry allowed her to wait inside with him until her taxi arrived so she was safe. Will 100% be having our get together here again simply for the friendly service. AimeeMore

Fantastic service and lovely vino. The attention paid by the owner makes you want to not leave, every person is made feel like they are the most important customer in the place, I am not surprised this place survived and expect to be a customer...next time i visit galway.More

I came for a well deserved catch up with a good friend, and the food and service did not disappoint! Beautiful food, wine and atmosphere! staff are incredible and I’m already planning on returning!
