Staff were very pleasant and efficient and COVID-19 regulations definitely were in place. There was a nice variety on the menu and all the food came out nice and hot and very tasty . Also the prices were very reasonable. Could definitely recommend a visit...to this restaurant.More

On a recent visit to Salthill we ate at the Galleon Restaurant. Our experience overall was very good, covid guidelines, sanitizing stations etc. were all very evident as was social distancing. Food was very tasty, very well presented & good value. Staff were all very...courteous & attentive. Would highly recommend a visit here, we will certainly be back when we return to Salthill.More

The Galleon is one of my most favourite restaurants in Galway. My boyfriend and I loved it so much we had to go twice in the one week! I ordered the chicken maryland with white wine mushroom sauce and mash. HIGHLY recommend. The staff was...extremely friendly. Our table was waited by a lovely young blonde girl. She deserves a raise. We were greeted by a lovely waiter with a Legend of Zelda tattoo. Cool guy. Only thing is the wait to the restaurant was a little long but definitely worth it. YUM !!More

My boyfriend and I visited here after a four hour car ride to Galway. We were starving, hadn’t booked anywhere and just needed to eat. We were seated straight away and staff were extremely friendly. They were over checking on our food and on us...throughout our visit which was nice. The food was nice and came quickly. We also got a dessert which might I say was lovely. I would give a 10/10 for staff alone because they were so attentive and welcoming.More

Myself, my husband and mom and dad went to this restaurant today because we have old memories of great food. But sadly on this occasion our experience was very disappointing. My Chowder was great and so was the dessert but the Chicken Maryland and the...so called Chicken Strips were awful. Also our food was served 5 minutes after ordering. Who fries whole banana s???? and why serve with chicken???More

For a restaurant right beside the sea, there wasn't a great variety of seafood. My dish was lovely, as was my partner's, but the others with were not overly happy with their meals. If you're here - definitely go for the fresh/unbattered fish 🐟

Went for a meal here during a day trip to Salthill with the family. Everything was spot on, food was nice and tasty with generous portions and a good selection on the kids menu but what really stood out was how friendly the staff were.

There wasn't a separate vegetarian menu but some things were marked with a 'v'. The staff are very helpful though.
