This is a great place to go for lunch, I love the new addition of their eggs and salmon protein lunches. Gourmet Tart are great for their good value priced coffee too, and their lemon meringue pies are in a league of their own!

Love picking up lunch and desserts here. However, it's happened to me recently, twice, where I have asked for a chicken pie and when I've gotten home realised that they've given me a beef pie instead. This was in the store off shop street towards...to back entrance of Corbett Court. Staff could also be friendlier, in this store as well as the others although I always find them friendly in the Headford Rd branch.More
Quality food at value for money prices is hard to find these days. So coming across this little oasis when we were on a break in Galway was a bonus. Excellent substantial sandwiches and wraps were on offer for under €4 and their cakes/macaroons etc...were very well presented at a nice affordable price. More than happy to recommend and just wish we had some in Dublin!More
Excellent coffee and pasties close to hotel. Gluten free brownie. Small containers for gift sets that can be purchased separately including nuts and candy we took in the car
Love Gourmet Tart. Desserts and cakes are very affordable and coffee prices are very good. Always find the staff very friendly.
What a perfect spot especially on a rainy day. Kept passing these places as so many in galway. Please open in dublin plzzzzz. Ok where can I start the smell when you arrive or the choice and selection they have for you. The best plain...au chocolate EVER!!!!!!More
I love gourmet tart and often frequent abbeygate street (where the staff are lovely and the place is so so clean) but the difference between there and Newcastle is shocking. Newcastle is so dirty, the ground has so much crumbs and coffee counter is always...a mess. Also, I went the last day and the girl dropped a croissant from the stand and it landed on the counter where money is exchanged and she picked it up with the tong and put it back out for sale. I was shocked! Like two seconds earlier there was coins on that counter.. disgusting.. Again, abbeygate street and ravens Terrance I can’t fault but Newcastle I would love to see some improvement.More
I visited this place every time when I went to Galway. I love it and the fam bam loves it too. Very good value and lots of different types of pastry to choose from.
Received a great hamper from gourmet tart last autumn so while visiting family in Galway this weekend we paid two visits to gourmet tart in Salthill in two days (yum!!!). Once to stock up on pastries & cakes to bring to family brunch…and a pitstop...before leaving town the next day for coffee & croissants for the road home. Can’t wait til our next trip west!More
We only arrived in Salthill yesterday and have already been in here twice. Amazing tarts, fantastic pastries, delicious croissants & scones. I’m running out of superlatives to describe the treats available here. Can’t wait to try the bread I bought for breakfast tomorrow.
Superb tarts, a huge selection to choose from. We had 6 assorted tarts, and all were delicious, the lemon meringue is especially good. Will definitely return on my next visit to Galway.
The cakes in this bakery are amazing , the lemon curd cake that I bought yesterday as a gift for friends was divine as was the chocolate qateaux, thank you so much, can't wait to go back
Fabulous selection of food. The chocolate pecan tart was fabulous. The pastry was deliciously crisp and tasty. Friendly staff. All told a fabulous food experience. Definitely well worth a visit.
I got a really tasty Vietnamese chicken salad. I would definitely get exactly the same next time! It was fresh and unique. There are a great selection of pastries and cakes too. The chocolate croissant was a great way to finish off the lunch 😋...Very friendly accommodating staff, I'll definitely go back again.More
Dropped into the Salthill branch recently to pick up a selection of pastries, scones and cakes to bring to a brunch picnic with friends. Cheerful helpful staff, delicious food and great value for money. Will happily return!
