Friendly local Indian restaurant

Have been a good few times. Never disappointed. A quiet place to unwind over a tasty well prepared meal served with care. Great for a relaxed dinner after work. Easy parking, very friendly and helpful staff. Cater well for both carnivores and vegetarians so a good place for a group too. They do a lovely takeaway and get top marks for offering customers the opportunity to bring their own containers to reduce environmental impact. Exactly the kind of consistently good place you want in the neighborhood. Excellent value for money.

Really taste takeaway

Some friends recommended this restaurant to us knowing we love Indian food. We ordered a takeaway Lal Maals (not on takeaway menu but they made it for us) and a Madras. Both were delicious and reasonably priced - €10.50 for a main. I can't wait to visit the restaurant and have just ordered a takeaway from there again tonight.

Excellent Indian Restaurant

Ate here early Wednesday night for the first time. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food was probably the best Indian food I have had in Ireland. Starters which was a sharing platter was excellent. Lamb Passanda for mains was superb. Lamb Madras for second main was also superb. Portions were very generous including rice which means you only need one portion of rice for two people. Naan bread is also superb. This was our first visit but certainly not our last

Excellent Indian restaurant

I found this Indian restaurant by chance in an online guide on the best restaurants in Dun Laoghaire, and I must say that the place is truly deserved. The Delhi Rasoi restaurant is located in the center of the town, a few minutes from the sea, and is very easy to reach. As soon as you are welcomed you immediately notice the elegant, silent and pleasant environment. The service immediately proves attentive, friendly and fast. The cuisine, prepared by Indian chefs, is excellent: in the dishes, both meat and fish, as well as vegetarian, you can really savor the Indian flavors, in the use of spices and condiments. I had the Tikka Masala and it was truly excellent, the best I've ever eaten! The price (40 euros for one person, starter, main course and water) is higher than the local average, but fully justified by the quality of the dishes). Strongly recommended for an Indian break in Dublin and surrounding areas.

Unpretentious friendly and relaxed eating experience. Really authentic food made with their own specially prepared spices, much higher standard of flavour than any Indian food we've had in Dublin. Service is really lovely too.

This was my tenth or eleventh visit here, and with each visit, the place improves. This cozy restaurant has always made a good first impression. Hosts are friendly, the food is delicious, the presentation is beautiful, the wine list is extensive, and the dessert is delicious. I would recommend it to anyone! I'd like to return here again and again. I recently had Dahi Bhalla here, and it was sooo delicious; it reminded me of India. Dal Makhani and Chicken Jalfrezi are two of my favorite dishes here. This place is fantastic, and the staff is equally so. They know what they're talking about and what they're doing, and you can tell that making customers happy is their top priority. The food is pretty good, and the prices are well worth it. Food is far superior to that of Rasam and Kinara Kitchen. If you go, make sure to meet the owner, who is a very friendly and nice person. Really good menu selection and lovely staff

This came up in top restaurants in Dun Laoghaire and was within easy walking distance of our hotel. We really enjoyed food and the menu selection which had a few different options. Staff very attentive and a really nice atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

Super curry house

16 of us visited Dublin on boys golf trip. This place took our booking at short notice. We are all, to a man, experienced curry lovers and all of us thought the food here was excellent. Between us we had a wide variety of dishes and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Full of flavour, suitably spiced & well presented. Good prompt and attentive service by the waiters. I highly recommend this restaurant

Fantastic food with the most genuine and friendly service. We couldn’t have asked for anything more from the staff they were so helpful and welcoming. A quiet location, lovely place to catch up and chat. Food was delicious!! Especially the butter chicken!

Curry house gem in Dun Laoghaire

This restaurant is very much understated, nestled in a quiet street on the edge of town. The food is really good, and probably the best curry I've had for a very long time. Their Tandoori dishes are absolutely excellent, and the place us just so traditional with great service to complement it. If you like Indian food then this is a place definitely worth a visit and not to be missed.
