I went to this restaurant with my family to try the ramen dishes and the response is: not that good.
First time trying Ramen for us. We were very happy with our meal. The food was delicious and great value for money! We got the £15 lunch deal which included a bowl of ramen and a starter.
Stopped for dinner on a cool day hoping to warm up with a nice bowl of ramen. We warmed up by being packed in the restaurant really tight. Ramen was ok. Noodles were too soft and temperature wasn't hot enough. Not sure I'd return.
Slimy noodles, cold meat and egg weird Gyoza with crunchy garlic or ginger. No one liked their meal, including table next to us.
Title says it all. Portions are good, taste is better than average (black garlic tonkotsu) should be 3.5 really but the sense of fulfilment is totally absent! Tables are a bit squeezed as well and quite sticky. Served its purpose to refuel at lunch but...wouldn’t become a regular.More
The gyoza filling was dry. Both ramen bowls were luke warm and the actual meats ie pork and chicken were cold!A big disappointment.
Front of house is very good. Very pro, easy to communicate with. Food was ok. Starters were all good. Ramen were a let down.
I've been visiting the ramen bar for a few years now and every time I cannot fault the quality of the food or the customer service. The menu has expanded and has a variety of dishes for everyone's tastes. I adore the spinach yasi with...crispy spinach gyoza on top, it is so moreish and the broth is delicious with the rich spinach noodles. The noodles are made fresh in house and you can really taste the difference! Its perfect for meeting with friends, a date, or solo dining - centrally located, with lots of seating. They have a good variety of starters and sides too (delicious european-asian fusion food: personally I love the kimchi arancini!) I love the loyalty card system they use as well, so I can justify all my trips!!More
Booked a table for two through the phone and it was very convenient. It may not look like it but the restaurant interior is very cozy. They have a full bar in which they serve drinks whenever called. I can't fathom enough how good the...food was, one of the best eats I ever had! The customer service was excellent, always on the lookout for customers that need something. Highly recommend if you like Japanese meals.More
I know ramen is not typically what you think of for food when visiting Dublin, but this place should make your list for lunch or dinner while visiting. The ramen was excellent, you can really taste that the noodles are fresh made. Broth was rich...and flavorful without being too fatty. Both my sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our bowls!More
I’ve tried almost every Ramen restaurant worth going to in Ireland, and this is the one I keep coming back to. The noodles are freshly prepared on-site every day and I could easily eat a kilo of them in one sitting. The broths are incredible,...they always leave me wanting more, despite already being full as a church on Christmas morning. Various fresh toppings always carry a satisfying crunch, and it’s hard to go wrong with any of the proteins. Yes it seems to be more and more expensive every time I go but good Lord is it worth it. Special shoutout to the prawn cracker nachos on the appetiser menu. Could start a whole new restaurant based around that concept. Visit this place if you have even a moderate appreciation of Japanese cuisine.More
I booked this place for a dinner and really looked forward to it however I was very disappointed of the quality of the food. The kaarage was extremely fatty, and they made the torishio with fried chicken so just really didnt fit into the broth,...noodles were undercooked. I left probably 80% of the plate. Wont be backMore
What a lovely experience! The smell from outside drew us in.. the place is huge inside! Beautiful decor throughout, a lovely feel to the place. We were seated and our orders taken. Staff were friendly and the food came out pretty quick! The ramen bowls...alone are huge, but we couldn't resist getting some starters, the menu has so many goodies on it!! The kimchi mozarella arancini balls were lovely, as were the king prawn gyozas! Was a nice touch having our own chilli oil on the table. I've seen some moans about the noodles... but honestly, these were the most flavoursome, lovely noodles I've had in a ramen! Usually I find they can be tasteless and feel so separated from the broth, but these homemade noodles were perfectly soft and so flavoursome. Loved them!! Had the saki with our meal which was a little lethal but topped off the experience! We'll come back from Liverpool again just to visit here. :)More
5 out of 5! The ramen are bigger enough to share. Highly recommend the beef brisket ramen and pork boa. Really good value for money! We will be back Recommend booking over the weekends
