This was a nice quiet place a few doors down from their well known competitor Searsons pub. The prices here are significantly less expensive than their competition and the staff was very friendly. I ordered the large plate of chicken wings and it was huge and fed 3 of us. This is a nice pub to take the whole family out to dine. Highly recommend !

Great pub with great service and really nice food. Enjoyed the sea bass with risotto and my partner enjoyed his Thai curry. Waitresses couldn’t have been more attentive. A great night. Thanks.

We called in off the street on Friday night, when the Eagles were to appear in concert at Aviva Stadium..The streets were thronged with people, and most places were full. We were welcomed in straight away by friendly staff seated and served menus immediately. Our well done steaks were served in 15 minutes. Food was excellent, desserts were to die for, all served by helpful happy staff. Well done to all, the place was full to capacity and had such a great pleasant vibe to it. Take a bow, you should be proud of such an efficient and well run establishment. Prices were very reasonable too...🙂

We came into a very quiet Waterloo pub on the first day the pubs reopened with the hope of getting a pint and some food. The food was lovely however our experience was made unenjoyable due to the presence of one of the bar managers who was rude and condescending to us throughout our time there. We were told that once we had spent 9 euro on food each we could enjoy the premises and what it had to offer for 110 minutes however after finishing our food and pint after 30 minutes we were pressured into leaving the bar by the same bar manager. We felt uneasy for our whole visit as this manager felt the need to keep on checking in on us to see what we were doing.

I booked a table for me and my wife for the all Ireland final on the 19th of December 2020. We are big GAA fans so I made sure to specify in the reservation request that we wanted to watch the match. They confirmed that we would have a table with a view of a TV. We arrived and were seated at a table at the back, beside the toilet, without a view of any TV at all. I asked the manager if we could have a different table and he explained that they were all booked. I showed him the booking confirmation that stated we would have a view of the TV and he responded saying that ‘there is a problem with the system, that this is the only table for two people, and that if we are not happy with the table then we can go somewhere else’. Under normal circumstances I would have walked out, but considering it was 5pm on the 19th of December there was no hope of getting a table anywhere else now. We ended up watching the match on our phones. At half time I decided to complain, as I had specified in my booking that I wanted to watch the game, and the staff reminded me, in their words, “if I am not happy, I can f*** off”. Disgusted with this place, will never be back.

OMG. Talk about rude. The assistant manager of this pub told us to ‘f—— off out. of here’ after we had complained about our last drinks being poured into plastic cups. They were more than happy take our large amount of money for last drinks, but 15 minutes later, they were ordering us to pour our drinks into plastic cups and to the leave the premises immediately. When we questioned this, the assistant manager lost the head, abused us with a tirade of expletives, had to be restrained in his anger by other staff. Absolutely shocking stuff. Never, ever, have experienced this before in an Irish pub. The women in our company, including young., absolutely appalled at such abuse and virtriol. Can’t believe this could happen in an Irish pub

This place was horrific. The staff and management there were extremely rude. We asked were they still serving drink and they said yes but this would be your last one. After 5 minutes of having the drink they came down with plastic cups and told us to leave. We explained if we were told we wouldn’t be allowed drink our last drink in the pub we would not have bought it at all. We also naturally questioned why there was other people in the pub that were not being told to leave. They told us that they were all staff which I do not believe is true because the people drinking there had been there as long as us. They then got extremely aggressive shouting and screaming at us to get the ‘f’ out. Bear in mind this was management speaking to us like that (his name is Robert) and his own staff had to restrain him. The girls in our group actually had to leave because we were so scared. A horrible experience to have after having a very nice day celebrating our cancer survivors before that.

Popped in for lunch. We hadn't been there before and were looking forward to it. The waiting staff were lovely but the food was lacking. I had the burger which was okay but it all seemed a little small for the price charged. My pal had a vegetarian quesadilla. We were both a little stunned by the filling - cous cous and beetroot. All a little odd in appearance and in taste. We'd return for the staff but give the food a miss.

Our first time in this establishment and we were impressed from the start. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food and service were excellent - far beyond my expectation. Menu choice was very good. Easy to get to location. Happy to recommend and we will revisit.

Bland drinking emporium that charges 6.10 for a Guinness. Only an option if you need to attend farewell drinks after colleagues in one of the nearby tech companies are laid off.
