I booked a table for me and my wife for the all Ireland final on the 19th of December 2020. We are big GAA fans so I made sure to specify in the reservation request that we wanted to watch the match. They confirmed that...we would have a table with a view of a TV. We arrived and were seated at a table at the back, beside the toilet, without a view of any TV at all. I asked the manager if we could have a different table and he explained that they were all booked. I showed him the booking confirmation that stated we would have a view of the TV and he responded saying that ‘there is a problem with the system, that this is the only table for two people, and that if we are not happy with the table then we can go somewhere else’. Under normal circumstances I would have walked out, but considering it was 5pm on the 19th of December there was no hope of getting a table anywhere else now. We ended up watching the match on our phones. At half time I decided to complain, as I had specified in my booking that I wanted to watch the game, and the staff reminded me, in their words, “if I am not happy, I can f*** off”. Disgusted with this place, will never be back.More

The service and food is simply amazing! Brendan, the manager, is very kind and friendly. He found a special place for me and my friends, and the time we spent there really surprised me, as I just went to have a pint and a snack...but in the up having dinner! Wonderful food.More

We came into a very quiet Waterloo pub on the first day the pubs reopened with the hope of getting a pint and some food. The food was lovely however our experience was made unenjoyable due to the presence of one of the bar managers...who was rude and condescending to us throughout our time there. We were told that once we had spent 9 euro on food each we could enjoy the premises and what it had to offer for 110 minutes however after finishing our food and pint after 30 minutes we were pressured into leaving the bar by the same bar manager. We felt uneasy for our whole visit as this manager felt the need to keep on checking in on us to see what we were doing.More

Popped in for lunch. We hadn't been there before and were looking forward to it. The waiting staff were lovely but the food was lacking. I had the burger which was okay but it all seemed a little small for the price charged. My pal...had a vegetarian quesadilla. We were both a little stunned by the filling - cous cous and beetroot. All a little odd in appearance and in taste. We'd return for the staff but give the food a miss.More

Great pub with great service and really nice food. Enjoyed the sea bass with risotto and my partner enjoyed his Thai curry. Waitresses couldn’t have been more attentive. A great night. Thanks.

Looks like a homey irish bar but is quite commercial and quite expensive especially for gin drinks, does have loads of TVs so if your looking for a sports bar and a couple of pints it might be perfect for you

The barman was kind enough to show the Springbok vs All Blacks rugby test. Had a wonderful full Irish breakfast with my family. Would definitely recommend the pub. Great service!

Had dinner here one night after sightseeing in Dublin. The bar was within walking distance to our hotel. The staff and food were very good as was the beer and cider we ordered.

Had an evening out with some friends where we had cocktails and food. Service was fantastic, attentive but never intrusive, and each member of staff we dealt with was really friendly and warm. The cocktails are very reasonably priced, especially for the city centre (and...delicious), and the food was lovely. Will definitely be back!More
