Disappointing dinner here this evening. Food quality of main courses was poor, desserts were fine. Brunch & lunch are better here, but I wouldn’t return for dinner.

We were recommended this restaurant by a local taxi driver transferring us from the airport to our hotel. It did not disappoint! Plenty of award stickers adorn the the entrance as you enter the not very posh looking staircase. The restaurant had a pleasant homely...More

I was very excited to visit this place after hearing reading lots of great reviews online and to be honest I was very disappointed. I ordered a glass of Reisling, which I sent back as it wasn’t cold enough. They then came back with a...More

Stopped in for brunch and I could tell upon entering the restaurant that it was going to be great, and it did not disappoint. The service was excellent, the decor a lovely mix of old and new, and the food delicious. There was a great...More

Lovely, low-key atmosphere--wood floors, large windows overlooking the Liffey, and floor to ceiling shelves of top shelf wine. Service was equally low key and very warm, not pushy. Food was outstanding--had a smoked trout with crackled egg and pink fir potatoes, inventive and delicious. Highly...More

Did a business dinner at the Winding Stair. Decent food, reasonable atmosphere (fairly informal), reasonably priced but not on the cheap side. Perfectly good experience, but probably not one that would stand out in my mind in years to come.

We had a great experience at this lovely restaurant. The dining areas are on the two upper floors of a historic building overlooking the Liffey and the views are fabulous - do ask for a table by the window to make the most of the...More

I recommend booking. We ate there on a Sunday night and not a single table was open. If at all possible, ask for a table by the window.
