Very relaxing and enjoyable evening spent having a nice meal and chatting with the locals. The sound of happy voices echoed throughout the pub. There was something for everyone, even those of us who were there just for the food. The staff are lovely too!...More

It's a lovely old pub, great location close to the National Art Gallery, Trinity's Lincoln gate and Merrion Square. There's a nod to Brendan Behan and James Joyce who wet their whistle here. With this pedigree the place should be buzzing, but sadly no. Sure...More

Myself & my wife dined here & were very impressed with the quality & freshness of the food. The food was cooked fresh & arrived very hot!! We had the New York burger which I recommend, the meat was juicy, tasty, & thick - none...More

I'm loathe to write bad reviews because I always think "This is somebody's business". However, having spent an evening in Kennedys, I wonder how they are getting away with charging the prices they charge for food. We had two starters, one was €12 and the...More

Found this place after visiting Sweny's Pharmacy across the street. Great local place and good prices. We can agree with some of the reviews about the hit or miss friendliness of the staff, but other than that this is def a place we would revisit.

On the weekend, Kennedy's had some great Irish Tradiitonal music. We also enjoyed their food. We had their fish and chips and it was good. It is decorated nicely. It can get crowded.

I went during a business trip, trying to find something local to eat. Even if the bar was full and noisy, the dining room just behind was cool. I took the soup, the french burger and the cheesecake, everything was delicious (the fries was incredibly...More

This may be the best lamb burger I ever had! This pub does a steady business. There is a separate dining area and service is good. Menu online is a little more diverse at the pub so if you don't see what you like online,...More

All we wanted was a soup to warm up. The Kennedys did not disappoint. The soup of the day was a butternut squash. The soup was piping hot, the service was excellent.
