Our first time in Dublin we had heard amazing things about Angelina's, so we booked in for brunch. when we arrived we were shown to our table which was a great booth however it went down hill in service from there.
Our server came over and assumed we all wanted tap water so filled up our glasses which had 2 missing (table not fully set?). Then eventually took our drinks order which once taken took an age to come. When we got our drink the food order was taken. Our party was a table of 8 in which 6 ordered the burger. Due to not having visited the restaurant before those who order the burger did also order fries to the side. It did not come to the waitresses attention that the burgers come with fries and therefore we had ordered FAR TOO MUCH!! when our meal came we were very annoyed as the amount of food we had was ridiculous and was likely to go to waste. This is something all of our party is very aware of hate wasted food.
With that being said the food was amazing with myself having the pancakes (very good). Yet again we faced a downfall when the server came to clear and stated we had order too much (couldn't she mention this earlier). Then suggested she would leave the remaining fries for us to graze on. But then cleared them all away???
I think she may have had too many tables at once unfortunately leading to bad service. Unfortunately the service was what i expected but would suggest to go as food and location is amazing and maybe this was an off day

We tried Angelina's last week on a spur of the moment decision. On arriving we were told the only table was at the door on a high table. No Problem we sat... 2 mins later we were told there was a table inside available..happy days! Lovely table beside the window looking out at the Canal.. Perfect. We ordered quickly...service was very good. Food was absolutely delicious!!!! I had the pork belly with house potatoes and poached eggs my husband had the waffle with beef. Both dishes were amazing! I especially liked the house potatoes. This group own and run a lot of eateries in the City and we've visited a few but they are never the same and the service, food, ambience, value for money and decor are always consistently top notch. Keep doing what you're doing!

Lovely location beside the canal - great views onto the water on a bright day. The dining room is light filled , beautifully decorated and very cool.
There’s a menu that suits all tastes and they have capacity to take large and small groups efficiently. Friendly team looking after diners & they are good with allergies.
Pizzas , pastas ,steaks, salads & burgers make up the core of the daily offering.
Happily recommend.

I was in this restaurant during a lunch with my colleagues and I am highly disappointed about the options of the food, given the extremely pretentious place. There was no vegetarian option at all, so I was forced to order two sides because I can’t eat pizza during a working day. The waiter was very insistent that the portions would have been too little suggesting to order main courses so I had to justify myself explaining my vegetarianism and my culinary tastes, that made me feel very uncomfortable. The last time I was in in this restaurant was 2 years ago, and they used to have at least a decent vegetarian pasta.
Please stop putting chorizo meat everywhere the world is dying by meat consumption!

My wife and I shared the Ham & Olive pizza, the Avocado, Toasted Pumpkin Seeds, Cranberries & Petite Tender Leaves salad, and had a bottle of the 2015 Langhe Nebbiolo. The pizza pie is thin crust, about 12", the toppings on the light side, and the salad quite small, so it was definitely not too much food, just (barely) enough for the two of us. Our waitress was friendly and casual but polite. The place has some really nice views of the canal if you're lucky enough to get a table by the windows (we weren't). It was a fun experience but nothing special.

I came here with three friends for brunch on Saturday 26th July. We were welcomed by a very nice guy at the door who offered us a coffee while we waited as our table wasn't quite ready. We were impressed to see him sanitising all the menus on a table by the entrance between uses.
We were seated on the terrace and enjoyed a mimosa before ordering. Our server's name was Kate and she was really lovely. It was great to see some of the staff wearing masks also. We had chicken and waffles (deadly), the breakfast (massive) and the benedict (classic).
Bill wasn't too expensive and we had a great afternoon. Great to see places open and busy while adhering to the guidelines and maintaining social distance!

Although the restaurant had a lovely ambiance and set up, I was left extremely disappointed with my options as a vegan. I am aware that choosing a plant based diet limits options in all restaurants but my only choice on the menu was a vegan pizza. I would often choose a vegan pizza so I was happy with this as a choice in theory but the pizza that I was served was extremely disappointing. The toppings were sparse so I essentially just had a pizza base with some tomato sauce and a few olives and bits of aubergine. The other members of my team had lovely looking meals so the standard of food within the restaurant looked good. I just wouldn’t recommend it for someone who chooses a plant based diet.
As for the experience itself, the staff were all very attentive. We were given all the condiments we needed without asking and our water glasses filled up. So I am very disappointed that the food I received was disappointing.

Good atmosphere, decor, food (with the exception of below) which is family friendly but not cheap.
Brought the family, including two kids, to Sunday brunch. We were lucky to get squeezed in at 2.15pm (brunch ends at 3pm).
We ordered chicken/waffle, pizza, burger, eggs Benedict and kids breakfast. Also ordered a Bloody Mary, pineapple juice and ice cream Sundae (which isn’t a sundae at all, it is simply ice cream in a tall glass - no cream or cherry).
Food was great with one big exception - there was no Hollandaise sauce on my eggs Benedict! In between trying to feed my little one, I didn’t notice until I was 3/4 the way through the meal. When I checked with the waiter whether I should have some, she brought some over immediately but two things soured the experience. First, the Hollandaise sauce I was given had split. So it was like eating grease and was not pleasant. I’m not a picky person but if you charge €16.50 for an eggs Benedict, (it also has pork belly and potatoes) the sauce should be made properly. One of the eggs was slightly over cooked, but not the end of the world.
Secondly, the waitress didn’t actually apologise for having not given me the sauce. I don’t care who’s fault it is, it’s really not a big deal and these things happen, but I feel like when it comes to your attention that the customer doesn’t have a quintessential element of their meal, there’s no harm in apologising on behalf of the business. She also didn’t bother to ask me how the meal was when paying etc, so I didn’t have the opportunity to easily give feedback. She was perfectly fine in terms of attitude and everything else, but maybe not attentive enough for me.
Anyway, my feeling is that the standards drop both front of house and in the kitchen when nearing the end of service. If I was to go back (which I would, and would also recommend) I would book earlier in service.
My only other comment is that the kids menu is quite limited, a mini pizza or something would be nice, as my 4 year old was confused about eating a fry at 2.30pm!
None of this would put me off going back. The meal was enjoyable overall and the place had a great vibe. My bill was around €100.

Looking forward to returning to a little normality in one of my favourite brunch spots. Very disappointing bacon was cremated house potatoes black as if they had under a heat lamp for hours. Sent it back fresh potatoes very nice but why let the burnt offerings leave the pass? The bacon was unfortunately no better and inspection of my fellow diners plates I realised this was the new norm. To be fair I was not charged for my food as I could not eat it. But what was to be a treat turned into a disappointment

So lucky after 6 weeks of lockdown to celebrate some freedom with girls’ lunch on the terrace at Angelina’s. Cold, wet and windy day but we were very cosy under the canopy and heaters. Great food (I strongly recommend the featherblade) and service was super with tables well apart so we felt very safe from a Covid perspective. Special thanks and compliments to Gerry for how quickly he answered my numerous emails during lockdown - outstanding customer service.

Like any Press Up restaurant, this place is style over substance and theybe put more time and effort into their decor than their food. Uninspired menu, limited options and no mention of suppliers on the menu
Had a pizza here which had a lovely base but the vegetables were overcooked and mushy, unevenly dispersed toppings and no taste to it. Saving grace is that the staff are attentive.

I had my first visit to Angelinas lastnight which had an incredible atmosphere after the Ireland / Scotland match. From the moment the 4 of us arrived we were greeted with fun, bubbly and attentive staff whom could not do enough for us. The rib eye steak was particularly good and I will for sure return again. The restaurant is overseen by Gerry Crossan whom is an incredibly experienced operator having run so many of Dublin City’s finest restaurants and his latest venture has once again over delivered and is exactly what you would expect from a place under his stewardship. Needless to say, we will most certainly be back very soon!

I had brunch with a friend here over the August bank holiday weekend and was so impressed that I promptly booked it for dinner that same week with another friend! Very friendly service and the food is delicious. The terrace is beautiful on a sunny day. The staff seemed to be very conscious of hygiene. The cocktails are also delicious. The decor is very cool and the vibe is laid back. I’ll be back again soon!

Myself and a friend went for an early dinner last week at Angelina's. First of all the terrace is so delightful to sit out on and watch the world go by. We were served my Mario. He was FANTASIC. He looked after us so well. Providing suggestions with drinks & food, He was so genuine and was looking after everyone so well. In these tough times it is so nice to go for dinner and receive such good service. Thank you Mario. We will 100% be back again!

Angelina is not a recommended dining destination. All their dishes lack flavor and are accompanied by beans, which is quite unrefined. The so-called "chicken supreme" is far from supreme; it is simply chicken placed atop a can of beans, and the same can be said for their fish dishes. The pasta is devoid of any taste. I cannot recall a single enjoyable dish from my numerous visits for work dinners or lunches. The food is truly awful, and the service is equally abysmal. The waitstaff seem to believe they own the restaurant and lack basic manners. The only redeeming quality is the restaurant's location.
