While staying at the Clontarf we were also able to enjoy the dining room. The server was gracious and thoughtful, and the food,…was amazing! We each enjoyed something different from the menu and were very pleased. The atmosphere was quiet and social distancing was observed....We have no regrets choosing the Fahrenheit Restaurant.More

My husband and I had an amazing experience dining here to celebrate our 3rd year anniversary. We had the duck and scallops for starters and I must say the scallops were the best ones I’ve ever had! The steak was cooked to perfection and gorgeous...sea bass, everything was incredibly fresh. Wonderful service as well, the waitress was very kind and polite and made sure everything was okay. Can’t recommend highly enough!More

My wife and I had dinner here in January 2020. We had a set menu that had a good selection. The food was excellent, in particular the dessert. The atomphere was very nice, with good space between space. Staff were very nice. Good and affordable...wine selection. Overall dinner, with wine, was excellent value too. We will definitely be back.More

I recently booked the Dalcassian Suite in Clontarf Castle for a work related meeting. The room was described as having ' an abundance of natural light' - nothing could be further from the truth. The room was cold and dark when we arrived. The corridor...leading to the meeting room was dishevelled and needed significant upgrading. The toilets located beside the meeting room were filthy, had no toilet paper and the hand towel roller was broken and trailed on the floor. Despite notifying staff of the issue, nothing had been done about it up to the time we left at 6pm. Service at breakfast was poor and staff in general were not that pleasant. Overall, i would not recommend Clontarf Castle for a corporate meeting under any circumstances.More

We were there last week for a meal. Because it was Christmas there was a set meal. I would have liked more choice. The restaurant looks lovely and the tables are set up nicely. The starters were good and we were all happy with the...food. We had a lovely bottle of wine as well. I had beef for the main course and it was done exactly as I like. So of the party had fish and they were happy with their choice. I had a lovely trio of desserts and a coffee to finish. A lovely meal. The waiting staff were good. But they seemed new as he kept on going off to ask questions. The overall experience was good I would go again.More

At the end of the main course, our waitress as literally disappear. We have waited the dessert for 40minutes when we decided to stand up and ask directly if we could have it as no one was managing our table anymore. We have ordered cheese...and thus asked some bread with it. After 10 more minutes, another waitress told us there were no bread anymore. Add this to the missing beef dishes from the main course (because there were “no beef anymore”) it’s New Year Eve food experience without the main course we wanted (as mentioned in the menu), without bread available, plus no service at all from the moment the person what were managing our table disappeared. What an unpleasant experience! And when you share the issue to the management, the feeling is closer to disregard than being actually concerned. Food was good thought, no issue about that, hence the 2 points notation.More

Great place where you have either lunch or dinner. I had both here and the restaurant didn't disappoint at all. Great food, great stuff and very beautiful and unique ambiance.

Ate here recently and the food was absolutely wonderful. The menus exciting and lots of choice on them. The service was excellent. The surroundings unique. Really all good but the party that I was with felt that the portions could have been bigger. I ordered...the mackerel starter - absolutely delicious but the serving was not a full fillet of mackerel. The men in our party didn't feel full after the meal. It's a simple thing to fix and I feel that the portions let a beautiful meal down. Maybe something to look at?More
