As a visitor to Dublin, I was unsure what to expect, so did plenty of research beforehand and was spoilt for choice with where to pick for my other-halfs birthday dinner. I was delighted with The Bull & Castle by F.X. Buckley; greeted with wonderful service and was seated at a large booth for the both of us, which was... More

Visited Dublin for football trip, and decided this restraunt was a MUST visit venue. I was delighted from the moment we were welcomed in to when the bill was paid and time to go. The quality of the beef was first class, and-the cod the girls had was excellent . We were made to feel comfortable, and the waiter was... More

We first went here after church at the Christchurch Cathedral to have a pint and we were so impressed with what we saw that we went back for dinner. They have wonderful aged beef here and I had a steak the quality of which I would have to describe as world class. This is a great place to go when... More

I had been the Temple Bar F.X before and have recommended to people in the past, never let me down as the steaks and set up are always brilliant. I hadn't been to Bull & Castle previously and wanted to take advantage of the fact I had read here on TA that you can watch the football. A table was... More

Well done Bull & Castle and all staff. Just love it here, Staff are some of the best, very friendly and efficient and plenty of staff to look after the customers. Fantastic bar food and as always there is a great choice of beers and whiskies. A pleasure as always to visit.

Nice place to go for a pint and a bite to eat. Great selection of beers. Good friendly service. Even if just grabbing something quick to eat before going to a show in a venue nearby.

Recently dined here on a Tuesday night. It was our anniversary and walked from the nearby jurys hotel. We arrived at 5.30 an early dinner as we were seeing a show. Came in the door and there were two men standing there. One basically ignored us while the other got a table ready. However service quickly improved when the bartender... More
