We wanted to have a steak dinner in Dublin prior to our tour. The F>X> Buckley steakhouse was recommended. Bad choice. They have a wide variety of "good steaks" and all over the place you have diagrams and descriptions of how to cook a steak....More

if you want a good steak this is definitely the restaurant to visit. Cooked exactly as ordered. Good atmosphere and the staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Would advise to book in advance as many people were turned away while we visited. Will be returning...More

My first visit to this little gem of a restaurant recommended by a friend at home . Not disappointed in anyway ... beautiful food and really lovely atmosphere. It was a pleasure to see people genuinely enjoying their evening and not on their phones !...More

Couldn't get a booking here on a Wednesday until late in the evening. Unfortunately, I filled up on too many oysters and Guinness while killing time, so annoyingly couldn't finish my plate. It was perfect, I just ran out of room, it will taunt me...More

Superb steak. Lovely oysters. Solid wine list. Was expecting a hefty bill but came in at excellent value. Service was prompt and friendly. People can be snobbish about Temple Bar but when there’s a restaurant this good there - who cares!?

Description
Serving Ireland's best steak in Temple Bar, a traditional Irish steakhouse with the experience and knowledge of over 25 years serving the perfect steak. We change our menus seasonally to reflect the finest that Irish produce has to offer in combination with the finest wines, cocktails and spirits to cater for all tastes and budgets. The Buckley Family has built a reputation as purveyors of quality meats for over six generations. Francis Xavier opened his first butcher shop on Moore Street in 1930 and this soon became awell-known Dublin institution. Since then it was part of a natural progression to open our own steakhouses around the city and serve our famous beef from our butchers to your table.
