Enjoyed a fantastic meal in this lovely French restaurant near Dublin Castle. Great ambiance created by the staff. The French girl who was managing was so helpful and attentive to us with recommendations and suggestions. Will definately return.

We thoroughly enjoyed Chez Max. The food and service was excellent. It is a small place, so I recommend a reservation. We enjoyed the French Onion Soup, the Mussels and Beef Bourguignon. Don’t miss the Creme Brûlée fro dessert!

I expected more of Chez Max. Great location, seemingly authentic French bistro ambience, French staff and a bilingual menu. In the spirit of the warm summer evening, and on our way to a show across the road we opted for the pre-theatre deal. As you...More

Myself and significant other went to Chez Max on a summer evening with rain on the air. After the long hot spell, it looked like the weather might break. My break of about a year from this wonderful eatery cannot be explained but can only...More
