Former large church with main floor bar and tables and upstairs gallery tables. Fabulous building, bustling vib. Live music with a small stage and step dancers when we were there for dinner. Food was a bit marginal. Signature dish lamb stew was served lukewarm, not...tender and not much flavor. Baked cod served on bed of butterbeans, etc better, although the fish was a bit off flavor while to veggie base was very good. Pleasant service. Go for the music and scenery. Don’t expect too much from the food and have a good time.More

Our visit started off great. It’s a beautiful restaurant with live music and some Irish dancers. The initial interaction with the server was very pleasant and he was attentive. We ordered nachos, the burger and the chicken burger. All of the food was very good....Once the food was delivered, however, our server completely forgot about us, and we struggled to get refills on water, drinks, and even condiments because the food was dropped and he rushed off. It was a little disappointing because it started off so nicely. We think he probably had too many tables.More

Good food. Great atmosphere. We enjoyed the live music and the step dancers. We were there on a Monday night and it was packed but worth the wait.

This is a tourist trap. Food is horrible for the cost. The drinks are watered down. It is a fun environment.

Beautiful place with large outdoor space too. As the name implies is a converted church, lovely inside with some of the original features having been preserved. Huge bar area with seating inside, lovely garden and covered areas outside. Nice hot food - good selection of...drinks. Quick and friendly service. Well worth a visit.More

Had the sunday roast which was perfect. The Staff is very attentive and some good entertainment in the evening. This was our second visit and not our last.

First of all the location is really unique! The service is not really nice and not helpful. With pints you can rarely do things wrong, however the Aperol spritz was about 15€ and while the bartender made my drink she said to her colleague "can...you bring some of the cheap Prosecco?“ Just to pour me one shot of the cheap Prosecco in my drink a few moments later. As said unique locationbur there are better venues to get drinks in Dublin.More

I was early for my booking (which was easy to arrange in advance) but the staff showed me straight to the table. I had a view right over the stage for the excellent entertaining music and dancing. The vegan rice I had was a huge...portion. The dessert was served quickly. The waitress kept me topped up with tap water throughout. The service was quick and friendly and I had one of my favourite beers. Overall an excellent visit. Have been before but this was my favourite visit. Was made to feel very welcome despite being on my own. Would highly recommend.More

What a spectaular place to have dinner. The atmosphere, the people, the waitstaff - the live music - all of it was just what we expected from Dublin. We sat on the second level looking down on the staggeringly beautiful bar and the live music,...had really good food and our server Abbi was absolutely delightful - she was so engaging and friendly and was one of the main reasons we went back the next afternoon for late lunch/early dinner - and we never go to the same place two days in a row anywhere we stay. There are many places you must see when in Dublin, this should be at the very top of the list (after the distilleries of course) - ask to sit in Abbi's section and tell her we sent you.More

Had an hour to kill before out restaurant reservation around the corner so decided to go in for a drink. When we walked in and said we weren’t eating just here for a drink we were told we could only sit at the bar or...on high stools dotted around the place. It was early afternoon and there was plenty of empty tables so we should of been allowed to sit anywhere. I was realtor walk back out but the wife didn’t want to. We also witnessed a manager bring one of her servers to tears with whatever she said to her, very unprofessional in front of customers. Never again.More

My friend and I visited on a Thursday evening and it was lovely to watch the musicians* and two Irish dancers from the balcony as we had our dinner. It’s a beautiful former church where Arthur Guinness was married in. As it was a beautiful...day, it was nice to have light through the stained glass windows. *(The restaurant was rather noisy so it was hard to hear the musicians sing.)More
