Had brunch here last week and the food is great, fresh hot and fast. The staff are the stars here from the manager down. They have a top wine list and the team have a great knowledge of the list and steered us in the right direction without just selling the more expensive options, which was refreshing . Its a... More

We went to an event in the CHQ building with our two small children and weren't sure where to go for lunch around there that would be child friendly. We opted for Ely, and the staff were lovely. They gave us a great corner table downstairs so the kids were happy climbing on the sofas. They had a decent kids... More

Fantastic lunch here in Ely Bar & Brasserie with my family. Really amazing service, everyone we met were so nice and very helpful, brilliant with the kids. Food was really good, my only criticism would be the kids portions are particularly small. Definitely hope to return

We brought two American friends for the Early Bird menu last Friday night, which proved to be very good choice and value for money. Were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. We had a very pleasant and helpful waitress (it was her first night working there). All four if us were able to find something we liked on the... More

Arrived a home 9 after having been told by the Pub opposite that their kitchen was closed ... well very lucky for us as Ely was a delight. The waiter upstairs told us to have a look downstairs and very glad we did. My Pork belly was trendy and fish cakes were lovely. We will be back.

A little disapointed as when we arrived we were informed that the vault area was closed on Sunday's, not once was this mentioned when i booked or on my email confirmation and also have not seen it mentioned on website. The food was good but pricey seen as though it was basically a bar meal as we were sat on... More

The atmosphere is very charming. Staff were knowledgable about wine offerings and offered top notch service. Their beet root cured salmon is well paired with citrus and berries.

Every time we visit Dublin we make sure to visits Ely's Bar and Brasserie by the water. There are two Ely's so make sure that you have the correct one. They have an upstairs bar and grill with an outdoor patio that is very popular. The food is good and the service is great. There is a more formal restaurant... More

We sat at our table for so long we had to ask for menus. We were given the early bird menu which has a good selection but we had a huge voucher to spend so we asked for the main menu to see the other options but a rude woman that works there wouldn't let us see it, she asked... More

I brought me girlfriend here for their Valentines evening dinner and wine tasting event. which was a unique and exquisite experience that both of us enjoyed. The food and wines were gorgeous and having a bit about each of wines explained to us was a lovely touch that topped off a wonderful experience. The decor and atmosphere in the place... More
