The service and atmosphere at F and B is always flawless. Fives stars . The presentation of the food is always spot on too. However, I always find the food to be just ‘ok’. I had the vegan option of open aubergine and courgette lasagne....Presentation was beautiful but the aubergine was not fully cooked and was rock hard in places. I are what I could and left the parts that were too undercooked to eat. The dessert was nice enough but nothing exceptional and I would skip it entirely next time. The starter was both well pres eyes and tasty. The staff are amazing and there is a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant . Flawless service but food a little bit inconsistent .More

We went here last night without a confirmed booking but the charming manager on duty immediately brought us to a lovely table in the elegant dining room. We opted for the well priced early bird and both had the salmon ceviche starter and Wagyu beef...burger for main course. The food quality was extraordinary, the starter light and refreshing and perfect for a warm summer evening and the meat in the burger was of very high quality and you really could taste the beef. The best we've had in ages. The service was efficient, relaxed and friendly. There was a small wedding party there which really added to the pleasant atmosphere. we will be back again for sureMore

I love the dining room here - airy, bright with natural light and a great sense of space. Food as always was great - grilled broccoli stems to start and hake for the main. No dessert for me but my two fellow diners enjoyed strawberries...with cream and shortbread and an elderflower sponge. Presentation and service were superb, toilets spotless and Covid controls very good.More

Went for a midweek lunch last week. Lovely room and excellent serving staff who were very welcoming, efficient and very happy to make suggestions as to what we might enjoy. The Angus/Wagyu burgers were magnificent and quite possibly the best burgers we had ever tasted....We had oysters to start which were served either naked with tabasco or grilled with garlic butter, both very tasty. They have a well thought out wine list to suit all tastes (and wallets) and we will definitely return to try out their great value early bird one evening soon.More

I went to Fallon & Byrne today to get a hamper made for a significant amount of money, but without alcohol. I was surprised how little interest anyone showed in helping me. I was initially directed to the website. I explained that none suited as...I was looking for one without alcohol. I was pretty much told to put it together myself. I found it extremely difficult to pick things myself without any help. In the end I went around the corner to Toonsbridge, who were very accomodating and helpful and I was in and out of there inn ten minutes with a fab hamper organised. Fallon & Byrne don't appear very customer orientated and I'll choose Toonsbridge first in the future.More

I stayed at an aparthotel in Dublin that had a fully equipped kitchen. This grocery store was exactly what I was looking for to buy typical Irish ingredients that are not of the lowest quality or too ordinary. I found there a great selection of...meats and cheeses, bread, veggies, and sweets. I really enjoyed shopping there. I did not try food from the restaurant as this time I wanted to prepare something at my hotel, a kind of home meal replacement. The store is a bit pricey, but it is not a typical grocery store. This is the type of place that I could easily make "my place" if I lived here.More

I had dinner twice in Fallon and Byrne, once after lockdown 1 and once after lockdown 2. On both occasions I was really impressed with their Covid protocols like the spacing of the tables, the option of a menu via QR code or single use...paper, individual sanitizers for each table setting etc. And that’s before I mention the food! The latter was excellent on both occasions. Overall, in these strange times eating out is a real treat and I have no hesitation in recommending Fallon and Byrne to the fussiest of diners.More

Absolutely divine, a triumph of flavours. Not to be missed if you are in Dublin. I had the saddle of rabbit and my husband had the ribeye. I can’t remember the last time I had a Knickerbocker glory but it was a must. Our waitress...was fantastic as was the whole experience. Well done to everyone involved for our amazing dining experience. We will be back the next time we are in Dublin.More
