We had lovely tapas and wine. However, the churros “chocolate” sauce was awful!!! We had had this dish before at the restaurant and this was the first time it was that bad. We were really disappointed because that was what were looking forward to have.

We went to have dinner in Pintxo Temple Bar yesterday and we got very disappointed with the food and with the table they gave us. The tapas were not tasty at all. For someone who knows the flavors of Mediterranean food, this experience is bad...and the portions are ridiculously small. The place is lovely, very well decorated, however yesterday they gave us a table on the top floor, where it was pretty cold and barely with no light. I don't recommend it.More

Went for food here last night with my girlfriend as the city is about to lock down again. The food is always good here but the service is awful. We waited for our table for 25 minutes. When we sat down we were given the...menus with no fuss. However during none of this time was it explained to us that approx 75% of the menu was now gone as the restaurant was getting prepared for lockdown. I get that they don’t want to have food wastage but a heads up would be nice. Not only had they little food option but no beers or sangrias either. Anyway the first thing we ordered was chicken wings which we were told were all gone. Then she proceeded to point out all missing items. Only two meat options left. We ordered four tapas each from what we could and 20 minutes later we were told that 5 of the 8 orders are now gone also. Then the new waitress informs us that she’s sorry for this and that if we like they might still have chicken wings or meatballs. Low and behold out comes the food (we had originally planned to order). My guess is the staff were saving some for themselves after work because it all seemed too convenient. I’m not one to kick up a fuss and We didn’t but in this situation I think it would have been honourable to offer something off the bill or a free glass of wine because the whole experience was a mess.More

This was our third visit to Port House as we love it so any chance we are in Dublin we decide to book here. I was a little disappointed with our latest visit. Our table was in the basement which we hadn't sat before, I...found it quite claustrophobic and so very dark (i'm all for mood lighting but if our candle blew out it would have been pitch black!). Our table was also right beside a store / staff room which every 10 mins or so a staff member would go into , having to squeeze past and when they opened the door the bright lights of the store shone through which was an uncomfortable contract to the darkness. The food was really tasty but we only received 1 dish which we ordered 2 of and also 1 of the items we ordered they did not have so we had to pick something different. I love sangria and as I'm pregnant I was delighted to see they had a non-alcoholic sangria on the menu. It tasted exactly like red wine, I asked the waitress if it was definitely N/A and she nodded but I'm not 100% convinced I received the right drink. I would return to the Port House but I would not sit in the basement again.More

Really tasty food and reasonably priced. There was something for everyone on the menu. They have a great variety of wines too. The ambience is beautiful. It’s very busy so they expect a quick turnover. I’d recommend booking as you could be waiting a few...hours for a table although you can have a drink at the bar while you waitMore

Last minute pop in to pinxto in temple bar as we fancied a drink and a nibble. It was so cosy and the food and GnTs so good, that we stayed most of the day. A really nice spot for a chilled few drinks and...unending nibbles! Definitely would go back.More

Wow. We ordered 6 tapas and they were all mediocre. And beware the seats in the back... it’s like sitting in a terrible wind tunnel.

Went there for dinner. Staff is friendly, portions are very small (more like starters on small plates), tables are too small as well, and DO NOT try Paella (you can't call that greeny rice with 2 thin squid rings and 2 little prawns a Paella)...! Ended up going to another restaurant to have a proper dinner.More

Amazing food! Amazing atmosphere! Just amazing! Came here with my girlfriend for a lovely tapas evening. Shared a beautiful bottle of red wine, chatted for hours and tried lots of amazing Spanish tapas. Couldn’t beat it if I tried 10/10 would go again!
