Been here on Friday evening, didn't have a booking, but managed to find a table for 2 even if the place was quite busy. The food was good - we had pizzas - and the staff was OK.

Popped in on a Friday evening ,did not reserve a table but it was around 5:30pm and looked quiet. The waitress asked if we could be finished by 7:15 pm. I laughed and said "it's food we want not lodgings ". The food was excellent. Both dishes were pasta . Staff were friendly and atmosphere was relaxed and really felt... More

We popped in at prime dinner time on a Sunday evening without a reservation. They were very accommodating and got us a table right away. Food was great. We had pizza, garlic bread and two different pasta dishes. All were delicious. Our waitress forgot to put in our order of garlic bread. Since it came out a bit later than... More

We visited here on our last night of our city break after fancying Italian food. Nice intimate restaurant, tables maybe a little too close together but nice atmosphere. We both had the breaded mozzarella to start and calzone for main. The mozzarella was a tiny bit underdone, needed frying a little longer as wasn't very melted/slightly cold in the centre... More

Fairly average as Italian restaurants go, and although that might sound critical, it isn't. I'm always happy with Italian grub, and this place is much what you'd expect from a small independent place, and reasonably priced. I plumped for the calzone, and was suprised when it came with a steak knife. It did take a bit of getting into, but... More

Stopped in for dinner as we were in the mood for a good wood-fired pizza. The restaurant is small and was full, but we were able to get the last available table upstairs (there is another dining area downstairs). We ordered a bottle of house red wine (Montepulciano d'abruzzo) which was good and reasonably priced. Knowing we wanted some leftovers... More

After spending quite a while finding somewhere to have dinner, with all the variety in Dublin, we were happy we chose here. A lovely little find! With it being quite small, we popped in on the off chance to see if they had a table left that hadn't been booked. We were quickly seated and served, with so much to... More

I have eaten here quite a bit before and usually have good experience. This time the service was quite poor. Waited nearly 45 minutes for a bowl of soup. The waitress then told me that soup was not ready and that they had also lost my order.

Description
Located in the heart of the city center, next door to Dublin's City Hall and serves its guests with a wide variety of mouth-watering Italian cuisine.

All of the pizzas at Cafe Topolis are cooked in the traditional wood burning pizza oven. A wood fired pizza oven cooks your pizza better than a normal oven because of the heat it stores in its dense walls.Due to its shape, the oven disperses the heat very evenly which ensure the pizza is perfect when it arrives at your table.

If you're going out for lunch, then you can get a great lunch at Cafe Topolis from €8.95.The early bird menu starts at 3pm and offers a great set meal from €14.95.
