We recently visited Dublin for a well earned weekend break. We stayed at a luxury Hotel just off St Stephens's Green. The Guest Relations Manager recommended Bang Restaurant as it fitted our taste requirements, & only 5 minutes walk from the hotel. We were not disappointed. The food, atmosphere and service were out standing. We have since recommended it to... More

Have been going to Bang for years and rather than having a shelf life this restaurant gets better and better. They keep evolving the menu to keep it interesting and fresh. Don't know how they maintain the prices at such reasonable rates. Had lunch with my friend there last week. Some new smiling faces but some of the old ones... More

We had a wonderful meal here after a day of sight seeing. The environment was relaxing and the service attentive. The pre theatre meal offered a marvellous selection of food that was beautifully prepared, cooked and presented. On a personal note, the home made soda bread was a true treat, as was a broad selection of wine by the glass.... More

This is our second time here and whilst the first was very good, today's visit eclipsed it in all facets. Despite no booking and very busy service due to the All Blacks Ireland match we were promptly accommodated. The manager recognized us from our previous visit despite a two year hiatus. The food has stepped up from an already high... More

The service was a little messy. The staff was very friendly, but it all seemed very unorganized. Long waits between meals and the side not served alongside the main... My wine was served long after my food arrived for example... Food was presented quite well especially my starter which was nice, but the the rest was just underwelming. Considering the... More

Was here with a large group. Food was really good. Orders were prompt. I started with a cauliflower soup. It was rich and creamy and delicious. They bring the bowl and then pour it from a jug at your seat. This was a little unnecessary for me. It just means more people had to bring the soup. The main I... More

Three of us went for dinner. I knew I wanted dessert so ordered 2 starters, one to be a main course. I ordered the soup of the day-cauliflower with scallops, raisins, capers, caramelized onions. It was truly out of this world. The onions were thin and crisp, raisins plump and sweet, the flavors played off each other. The soup was... More

We enjoyed a lovely meal the restaurant has a really great buzz and our waiter Tom was so kind. The food is simple and there is plenty of choice on the menu.

Heard a lot about this place from a colleague, decided to give it a shot, booked a table for two. upon arrival, I notice two levels, lower level with a bar for a large crowd and upper level for quiet seating. we arrived late, 45 minute to their closing time but we not rush to order. I would recommend this... More

A small group of friends and I visited the restaurant as we all happened to be in Dublin the same weekend. We opted for the set 3 course menu and was really surprised at how good the food was..portions are small but are so tasty it really didn't matter..The restaurant was very busy but our waiter was attentive and very...
