Went in for drinks only over six nations weekend. Really god atmosphere - staff and locals friendly - plenty of banter. Didn't eat but the food looked delicious. Would go again and maybe eat next time

Living locally for some months this became a regular lunch haunt for us. Cosy ambience and great deals on good quality lunches. Best of all is the unpateurized Pilsner Urquell from the tank, an unforgettable taste experience. A very popular lunchtime venue with the many office workers in the area but we always managed to secure a seat. All too... More

Great pub in central Ballsbridge. Serves good food. Can get very busy especially if there is a game on at the Aviva or event at the RDS. Lovely atmosphere.

This is what a modern Irish pub should be like, great atmosphere, no mahogany in sight, but lovely wooden floors, warm on a cold wet day and full of laughter and activity. Sadly didn't eat there but the restaurant looked good, the Guinness was excellent and overall the place has a great vibe and is close to Aviva Stadium, easy... More

Great writers love places of character; and 'The Bridge 1859', with its New York loft -style exposed red brick interior exudes a warmth & character. A place, which a great writer like Ernest Hemingway would adopt as his 'watering hole'...and in which a great novel might find its genesis & inspiration... The decor, with tan leather seating is very comfortable.... More

We had lunch here yesterday and I loved it! PROS: - Nice pub with beautiful decoration and lighting. - Great music. - The staff were helpful and dedicated although it seems they didn't pick our jokes... 😊 - Food was amazing! It was well cooked, fresh, tasty and the servings were huge! I couldn't finish my delicious fish and chips... More

I met my Daughter here after work for food and drinks on Friday evening. We ordered 2 glasses of wine and 2 glasses of water, the wine came promptly but no water, after asking several times the water finally arrived. When the food arrived, a Caesar Salad was served to my Daughter although she ordered a burger, this was taken... More

My family and I went in for early Sunday lunch at 13:00. The place was almost empty with around 10 patrons dotted around the pub, so unfortunately the atmosphere was missing, not a fault, that's just the way it was. We have starters of soup, piri piri prawns, chilli nachos and calamari all very good the soup probably edged it for... More

We popped in the Bridge for a drink before going to Roly's for a meal. Despite it being a Thursday night this pub was very busy, it's a very popular place. A contemporary location, the brass stills are fantastic, although busy the staff were attentive and friendly. This place is a must if you are visiting Dublin

Three of us called in for lunch. Very busy, and hard to get seats, but they did their best to accommodate us. The food was really good. I had the supersalad which is exactly what it was. Husband had pulled beef, which he loved and son had steak sandwich which he demolished. The decor is fantastic, with a real 'old... More
