Enjoyable, professional, raged 4 stars intentionally. Food at that level, but not overly creative and the wine list the same. Gnocchi was quite good and well spiced, but again not a dish that would make me return.

The food was excellent, the service outstanding. This is a very good Italian restaurant, good location in a quiet corner in center of town.

I ate here last night with two friends. My scallops were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection as were my friends' scampi. We all ordered steaks cooked differently and in my experience there's always a delay or mixup with an order like this but not so here. Each steak delivered at exaclty the right time, again, cooked to PERFECTION. Hand... More

Stunning, intimate and wonderful eaterie in a terrific location. My scampi linguinie was the best I have had anywhere in the world (warning: very spicy indeed) and my partner's scallop starter had her drooling. Bit unsure on the wine as it is 99% Italian but helped to a great and very reasonably priced choioce by the professional but very friendly... More

Wonderful atmosphere, delicious Italian food, and a great wine List all led to a very enjoyable evening. The Unicorn Is down a side alley right near the Shelbourne Hotel across from St. Stephens Green. Our meal began with bread with tapenade (though there is a 4€ charge for this), and I had Gambas with Chorizo and My husband had a... More

Good staff but limited menu (for me). Not too many appetizers of interest but lots of people were enjoying the mostly Euro menu.

My wife and I eat here in March 2017. Starters at €17 was hugely overpriced. Our table was 6 inches from nearby table so you had absolutely no privacy. The main course was adequate and the wine was nice. All in all a very mediocre experience and certainly not worth the money. I had a €100 voucher which was to... More

Ignore that the restaurant is full of well heeled Americans. If you want excellent traditional Italian cooking, this Dublin institution never disappoints. On this visit we ordered beef fillet and veal (escalope and the special chop) for mains and grilled spicy shrimp and pasta with Italian sausage for our starters. For dessert - just about all the selections are worth... More

We visited the Unicorn as a party of 6, we had booked well in advance. On arriving we were shown to a table right beside the door. My partner was annoyed that we seemed to be given the table that most restaurants reserve for walk in trade. it was a cold March night and every time the door opened we... More
