Staff were so friendly and helpful we asked them to go through the menu and they explained everything perfectly. One of our party couldn't finish and it was no problem to carry it out. The portions were huge 😍 we will be back.

Good food and lots of it. We chose the mixed platter for 2, brisket. pulled pork and chicken with mash and fries. The mash is great, the pulled pork delicious, the brisket didn't quite hit the mark for me but husband liked it. Would recommend.
Not too sure what the bad reviews are on about? We were in Dublin as part of my birthday treat from my wife. Both the food and service were outstanding. We felt welcome and they couldn't help enough. We are both BBQ fans and have...had lots from different places as well as cook our own. This was right up there. My wife commented it was probably the best Brisket she had ever had! They went above and beyond as I wanted a dessert which they don't do, but the server went to a neighbouring restaurant and got me a cheesecake. If that isn't top notch service, I don't know what is. This just topped the amazing night off. Thank you for helping make my 50th a memorable one. Oh, I would highly recommend ordering the Smoked Old Fashioned (see pictures)More
This restaurant is situated between where we stayed, and where we had to park the car. After walking past it a few times, we decided to give it a try. We shared the mixed platter for two, ate until we were stuffed, and brought half...of it back to the hotel. We had enough for a full meal the following day. I thought the purple slaw was good. Our meats were all cooked to perfection. I'd go back if I found myself in Dublin again.More
Dined here as a group of 6 people. Most of the couples ordered the Mix Board for Two to share. This had beef rib, chicken and pulled pork, with salad and choice of 2 sides. Ordered IPA beers and wine to go with meal. Would...have preferred regular beer, but that's the only constructive comment I'd have. Service was great, food was delicious and waiter was very friendly. Would recommend.More
I absolutely love this restaurant. Meat is delicious and the portions are massive. One of the best value restaurants in the whole of Dublin. And it has opened Mondays and Tuesdays for 2023.😀😀
Had dinner with my girlfriend here before going to a movie in the Lighthouse. The service was fantastic (it was early evening midweek). I had a mixed box and my girlfriend had chicken. All the meat was juicy and tender and tasty and the sides were...fantastic too. We both agreed we would be going back! (And very well priced too)More
I ordered a soda to drink, but I received a bottle of sparkling water and a glass with lemon and ice. I called the staff to tell them about it, they said "ok", minutes later I received a glass of sparkling water with lemon and...ice. They just took the sparking water and put in the glass. I was just trying to drink soda :~(. Next time I will order sparkling water, I hope I will get the soda :-). The meat was pretty good, but I can't tell the same about the soda, because I never tried ("hello darkness my old friend")More
Visited on a quiet Sunday evening Service was ok The meats and coleslaw were ok The chips seemed to have been kept lukewarm for a fair while Could’ve been so much better, wouldn’t return
Good restaurent but too much food we was not able to finish even for good appetite persons The quality was good and taste very good.
We came in the restaurant. Ordered some drinks and the smoker for 2 persons. We got our food fast and it also looked good as well. But when we tasted it, it was rubbery and chewy. I could barely swallow the meat. The chicken on...the plate was okay, it just needed more flavour. We would not recommend this restaurant to our friends and family. It is flavorless, chewy and it is not worth your money.More
Visit for first time and really impressed. Food was lovely and portions great size. Really enjoyed the meal. We will be back again.
I had high hopes for My Meat Wagon and they were well and truly exceeded. On arrival in Dublin, I had spotted the bar through a window and felt it would be a good place — and I was right. We returned for dinner two...nights later and what My Meat Wagon does well is simplicity. The menu is broken down into meat in a box, meat on the bone and meat in bread. There’s no pretence or elaborate menu items. You decide what meat(s) you want and how. It then, true to advertisement, arrives in a box, piled high. The fries are excellent too — as is the coleslaw — and the rapid speed of service was hard to believe. Succulent simplicity, speedily served.More
Good slow cooked meat! Can recommend this place if you are into meat. Everyone was friendly. I enjoyed the ‘cow’ on bone. Very tasty.
Texas BBQ in Dublin Ireland! No, I'm not joking. After 3 weeks of pub food I was due something different. My Meat Wagon did not dissapoint. My friend and I got the combo for 2. Chicken, beef rib and pulled pork. It came with 2...of the best onion rings I've had in a very long time, lightly battered and fried to perfecrion. The chicken was moist and melted in your mouth. The beef rib fell off the bone and had that open pit smokey flavor. The pulled pork was was good but the stars were the chicken and beef. BBQ beans with huge chunks of smokey ham finished off the platter. The 5 big Irish dudes leaving as we came in werw moaning with delight. It's that good.More
