If you're in Dublin 4 and hungry, get yourself down to Mos Pizza at Cafe Diem for awesome pizza, sides, deserts and coffee. All with a Moroccan twist 🥰
Cafe Diem is a hidden gem in Donnybrook. In addition to great coffee and really tasty food, it is the owner Mo who is so warm and welcoming and fun that makes a visit so special. The welcome is the same even if you’re only...calling in for a read of the paper and a quick coffee. The Moroccan decor and fun music will brighten up your day. Be sure to try a scone!More
Dropped in here a couple of times on work visits in the area. Really cracking little spot for a coffee and snack at competitive prices. Décor is tasteful and comfortable, service cheery and genuine and food/drink really good. Could easily spend at least an hour...relaxing and either reading or chewing the fat with a pal, highly recommended. I'll be back.More
The owner Mo' has a wonderful cafe. My friends and I visited on an almost daily basis while we were in Dublin. The cafe is inviting and has a relaxed atmosphere. The cafe is a favorite of locals and there is always friendly banter occurring....Mo' is a gracious owner and enjoys talking to everyone who visits; we felt very welcome every time we visited. Mo' got my friend and I hooked on Noos-Noos, a Moroccan coffee. Mo' is a Moroccan chef and makes all the food in the cafe. The scones are tasty. I had the best omelette I ever had while eating there. Mo' goes out his way to be helpful and allowed my friend to use the private WiFi while there. He even gave me his personal cell number to contact him and for me to text so that he knew I arrived safely back into the States. You can't go wrong dropping by this place.More
I had breakfast of freshly baked scone and coffee, sitting outside on a lovely sunny morning... I accidentally left the cafe without my keys and the owner was kind enough to hold onto my keys and search for me through my dunnes stores card.. he...was exceptionally helpful and went way above and beyond what was necessary...his cafe deserves to do so well not least because he is the perfect antidote to large corporate coffee companies....I couldn't recommend cafe diem enough.More
Amazing service, Mo is so friendly and chill. Due to allergies I had my own oat milk with me and he gave me one on the house! Can't ask for someone more decent than that! Will definitely be back!
I've been dropping in here with my mother since the most generous Mr. Mo opened the Cafe and every time it is a pleasure. The coffee is unbeatable, the atmosphere warm, the banter (if you want it) is great. For a visitor to the area,...I recommend coming in with a book and sitting in the corner observing a slice of real Dublin life with a Morrocan twist. The chicken melt sandwich is great too. May there be many years of Cafe Diem to come.More
I dropped into Mo's place by chance as a passer-by and was instantly struck by the homely and friendly atmosphere. He has set out the interior as a sort of hybrid of a Moroccan tea house and a comfortable European lounge - taking the best...from both worlds - and it has an intimacy that stimulates conversation between people who in another setting would be unlikely to acknowledge one another's presence. Great coffee and pastries - I will return soon to try the more serious offerings. Highly recommended for a relaxing break in a busy city.More
I popped in to Cafe Diem while waiting on my car to be fixed in the garage next door. Such a lovely little cafe with a personality, make a nice change from the generic coffee shop. Mo the owner had three different tables all chatting...to each other. Deffo worth popping in if you are in the area,More
Popped into Cafe Diem during the week for the toasted chicken sandwich (which is no longer advertised on the menu, but Mo will still happily make it for you). At €5.50 it was unreal value. Great sandwich! Mo made the experience for us though. I've...never laughed so much. LegendMore
Best tagine outside of Morocco. But don't tell anyone as limited supply daily! Sunny outside patio with the friendliest service ever. The Proprietor, Mo, knows all his customers by name and temperament. If you your the area by day, well worth a real coffee or...lunch!More
This is a very enjoyable spot for a coffee or a light meal. Located in Donnybrook village it is still off the beaten track. The owner is a character and really adds to the place. The food has a Moroccan twist to it. They also...serve pizza. Definitely worth a try.More
